Very very friendly and helpful staff. Good prices on subs, great place to get snacks before hitting the slopes

The Ingles is kind of old-looking, and some of the produce was unimpressive. The prices were fairly reasonable, and they had all the things I needed (including some OTC medications for my kids that we needed while vacationing in Boone). The staff was friendly in helping us find what we needed, and when we discovered they accidentally charged us double for the apples we bought, they quickly refunded the money to us. This was the closest grocery store to our AirBNB, so we visited it a few times while we were in Boone, but I probably still prefer the Harris Teeter a few miles down the road.

I LOVE shopping at Ingles! I live in Raleigh, NC and we do not have an Ingles. I always shop there when I am out of town. Ingles has items that I can never find at home. They sell sauces, breads, and other items that I simply cannot get at home. This Ingles was near our Air B&B and we did all of our grocery shopping there so we could cook all of our own meals while having a nice getaway. This location was clean, organized, and the staff was friendly. I hope they open one in Raleigh one day!

I drive by this ingles at least four times a day but I drive out of my way to go to any other grocery store. Customer service is atrocious. Produce is low quality and you will always find them out of stock of some common staple (not oddities like tp or sanitizer in a pandemic, mind you - regular commonly stocked items). I've stopped by in a pinch and the employees lack of care continues. No wonder few shop here as their primary store. I'm happy that I'll no longer be living anywhere near this store so my emergency run to the store trips will be somewhere else. Odd, because in Asheville the ingles are great. The Boone store seems to be the outlier in the Ingles chain but is definitely the worst grocery store in town. I often stop at the gas station across the street and pay twice the price for something quick just to avoid the employees at this store. Like many in the west side of the county I drive past this store and go 1/2 hour out of my May round trip to go anywhere else. And have you noticed the prices creeping ever higher at this store!? The cashiers are the worst part...ever thought about self checkouts? Keep it up ingles...I'm sure someone is just waiting for this location to be available.

I was overcharged the advertised price of a product that was on sale. I went back to Ingles and told them they overcharged me . They refunded the $2.00 difference and kept my receipt. The next time I was in there I saw their price guarantee, which hangs over the cashiers and which states you get all your money back. So because the refund person kept my receipt I could not prove they had cheated me. And the bad part was it was the Manager of the store. So beware if you are not charged correctly.

The produce looked absolutely terrible and I got food poisoning from the chicken from the deli market.

i recently visited this location and forgot a bag of groceries (one bag of bratwurst buns). once i realized what i had done i called the store and spoke with a very nice girl who said i should come back and get my forgotten item. I came the next day to retrieve my buns and the manager lucas was very helpful in making sure i got them and also apologetic about me forgetting them when it was completely my fault.
