I bought fresh garlic that I thought looked unusual but I trusted the place where I was shopping until I got very sick. If you see uniform size garlic, bleached white, with no roots on the end, it’s from China. I’m not saying where Be Natural bought their garlic but look for garlic grown in the US. Outside the US many countries are growing garlic in the sewer and bleaching it before shipping to the US. I was very sick and let the store know.

A poorly-managed and unprofessional business. The hours on this Google profile are incorrect, and the employee admitted they knew that but still didn’t let me in a minute after their actual closing time, even after learning I had driven 50 minutes to get there and only needed a couple of things. I used to spend hundreds of dollars a month here, but never again with this place. It has declined so severely from its heyday.

like this store but won’t go back until they comply with the public health mask guidelines as almost every other retail store in Boone does. Seems like a statement that they are disregarding public health, and especially dismaying for a health food store
