Called yesterday and went in today to get some furnace fuel. I had a great experience. The lady that answers the phone and works the front desk is super nice, and helpful.

Where do I start paid close to $6500 to get a gas fireplace insert put in. Missed the deadline by almost 2 months. Left my gas stove on with all burners on high with nobody in the house for over 6hrs. luckily my neighbor came by to check on the house and found the stove on. Confronted them about it and said they'd credit me $20 for the gas. Paid close to $6500 and they left the power cord on the outside where you can see it instead of running it into the basement like they did when they had to run the gas line. Confronted them about the cord and said this is how they do all of the fireplaces with the cord out the front. Just a horrible experience with this company from start to finishReply to the comments posted from the owner. The $350 credit was from the manufacturer of the fireplace not the retailer/installer and the delays where not because of weather it's from poor management. The power cord doesn't need to be in the same room as the fire place they could of run it down to the basement when they ran the gas lines. That's how they did it in my other 2 houses by other professionals installers that know what they are doing. If I knew this was how it was going to be done I would have definitely went with another business. If I could get a full refund I would, definitely not worth it

My builder had a propane fireplace installed by this company. On November 8, 2021 I contacted them because the fan blower was not coming on. I was given a date of November 22, 2021 for the fireplace to be repaired. The guy showed up that date and spent two hours but needed to order parts as the fan only works on high and is so loud we cannot hear the TV over the noise.. As of this date no one has come back to fix anything. I contacted Gary and he said he is waiting on parts and since it is working, he is not too concerned. I told him it is not working properly but he is not concerned. This company has terrible customer relations and I hope the contractor does not use them in the future for the other 200 homes they are building. Terrible company to deal with!!!

Unfortunate experience all around. Bought a house where I had to determine ownership of the tank. Initially, they told me they did, so I thought I had to go with them for my propane. Turns out I own the tank, so they were wrong, but it did get them my gas log fireplace maintenance business before they informed me of that. I was quoted $80 for the technician to come out, but nothing was said about this being an HOURLY rate. I asked questions of the technician because I was thinking of restoring a regular fireplace. He stopped his work to talk with me. Had I known I was being charged by the hour, however, I wouldn't have asked those questions and would have researched it instead. I went with another propane provider that didn't mislead or overcharge me.

Appalachian Energy had two employees come to our business around 5pm. They didn't bother to ask anyone where they should park the truck, so they chose to block in four cars and left the truck running with no one around to ask to move. After waiting 20 minutes for them to come back to move, I asked them if they were leaving and thanked them for blocking my car in. They responded "No problem" with a smile. Very unprofessional.

Very reliable service in a difficult-to-reach area. My only quibble is a tank in which the meter never worked from day one, and Appalachian has yet to replace it after about 12 years. I can't tell how much LP is in there. But because Appalachian delivers on a regular basis, it hasn't caused problems yet.

I am completely satisfied with the great service Appalachian Energy provides. Bobby is usually the one that deliveries my propane and no one could be nicer. If I have problems it is always handled very fast and efficient by just making a call to the office. I would and have recommended Appalachian Energy to people.
