I went in to buy groceries and they did not give my card the opportunity to swipe. The young man at the cash register had no idea what he was doing and I stood in that store for almost an hour. With his headphones in he was not going the extra way to help me. Now there are 7 people in line and I had carried all my groceries out to my car. They rushed me out of line and told me to go get the groceries out of my car. So when I come back in the boy rushed through all of the bags and scrambled to try and ring everything up while all of my groceries were sitting in the floor, not pulling the items out and setting them on the counter to be thourough. They rung everything up but had missed a bottle of shampoo due to the manner he scanned things in. So once they let me complete that transaction they rushed me out of line again to check out the people behind me when they had forgotten the bottle of shampoo in the last transaction. So they allowed the 6 people to check out while I had already been there for an hour and then proceeded to let me continue checking out. The “manager” working there was very disrespectful and rude and had no intention of helping me. The boy did not say but 2 words and was no help from the get go. From someone who has worked in stores and with people to assist them, and in customer for almost 10 years, this was the worst experience I have ever experienced in a store.

For my local d.g its a rat nest they never have anything stocked anymore.. Employees alway rude as hell. Its become the crack house of boiling springs.. I will now drive outta my way to shelby just to be able to get what i need! Should shut the whole store down... Use to love it... Really gone down hill.. Won't ever recommend to anyone.

This is a very well stocked store right near the college. The shop was clean and well lit for the most part but there were a few darker isles. All and all, it was another good visit to one of the many dollar generals. It would near top of the list for me.

Me and my husband was just told we could not park in a handicap parking spot when we have a handicap placard visible in our vehicle and both me and my husband R handicap the lady I am guessing the manager was really rude she could have handled things better than what she did first time at this dollar general and will b the last time
