This is THE STORE I look forward to visiting each time I visit Blowing Rock NC. It is my favorite store in fact. From the moment I walk in I feel welcomed. The scents, the positive and uplifting music playing over the speakers, the friendly welcome from the staff, and all the beautiful items in the store, feel like home to me. The owner Sherri is the icing on the cake, her smile is pure comfort. She is always happy to help me pick out something special. Her Joy is contagious, and sincere. There are so many beautiful items in the store. Each time I go I find a little gift for a friend, a family member, and usually one for myself, and I leave with a smile on my face. Take Heart is a lovely little gem of a store. I cannot wait to return.

This place use to have what they call a prayer tree. I had recently bought a new camera so I went back to take pictures upon arrival I noticed I couldn't find the tree so I went to a restaurant near by and one of the servers explained to me that the prayer tree had burned down. But what a great little town to visit people are friendly and the atmosphere of the town is awesome.

Oh. My. Word. I saw the precious lavender building and wanted to see what was inside. I’m so glad I went. Take Heart had such a beautiful, peaceful selection of items - clothes, jewelry, gifts, etc. I wanted it all! Also, the Christian books and items were a nice surprise. The employees all seemed to love the community and were so kind. I wish I lived closer… this would be my go to place to buy gifts. ??️

This is a darling store and definite must visit when you are in Blowing Rock. The store has a peaceful, hope-filled, loving vibe and I would love to have one of everything in it. Kathy and Sheri are so kind and made our party feel welcome and like family. I'll be back!

This place has seen a lot. Used to be the cutest little purple house with a wonderful prayer garden. Unfortunately, they had a fire, so now Sherri has set up down the street in the Ice House. Her stuff is wonderful and so encouraging. She always remembers all her customers and would love to hear your story! Please support her so she can reopen <3
