“I needed a storage unit quickly as the lease for one apartment ended and we had two weeks before we were able to move into a new apartment. I called a few storage facilities around the Boone, NC area and left several messages. I then called Grandfather Self Storage in Banner Elk and was surprised that someone answered the phone since the other locations did not. Judy at Grandfather Self Storage was so helpful and full of information helping me determine the correct size unit to meet my needs. I had a unit rented within five minutes. The communication was great and Judy always answers the phone when I call with any questions. The move in process was seamless. Would definitely recommend this facility to anyone needing storage. “I have been using this facility since August 2022 and it is a very clean facility. Staff and owners are very nice and easy to reach if needed. On-line communications and payment options are easy to set up. Access to storage units is easy. Very pleased!!”
