Rhoddie is a really nice bike shop! Matt fixed a brake problem on my wife's bike that other bike shops never could resolve. Bike service is fast and effective. They are a great resource for advising cycling routes in the area. If you are in the Blowing Rock area and love cycling, stop by and visit Rhoddie and Matt, the nicest bike shop owner you will find!

This is a fun shop, right along the path of hundreds of miles of great riding.Brian and the staff went out of there way to help me out with a quick Derailleur Adjustment on the fly and to set me up to demo a bike.They are very knowledgeable, warm and patient with questions.Highly recommend

How kind and knowledgeable the people are is the reason this place has a 5 star rating.My bike broke down in the middle of my ride. I brought it to them and they fixed it within minutes while I had a beer next door.

My experience with the Rhoddie Bicycle shop was amazing. I am on a weeklong cycling trip with a small group to ride the mountains surrounding Blowing Rock. I shredded my rear derailleur cable on the second day climbing Snake Mountain. I was not a happy camper that night and was worst casing about my trip possibilities. I showed up anxiously at Rhoddie first thing the next day and was immediately taken care of. Brian had to spend extra time extracting the cable and got me back on the bike that morning for my ride. The cost was way below what I expected. The shifting was perfect and Brian explained what happened and how to prevent it in the future. Two of my companions have also used Rhoddie’s with the same experience. I am definitely going back to Rhoddie in the future when I’m in the area. Cannot be beat!
