I started building my dressing room and fully intended on buying items there, but then a woman hovered over us. Never spoke to us. Just hovered as if we were going to steal. It came off very rude so we just ended up leaving.

Today was FABULOUS ? Sweet amazing ladies Katie, Madelyn and Charity were so helpful and warm welcoming today! My family got to enjoy the experience and fashion fun with these ladies! They were authentic, genuine and honestly family vibes!!! Please know ladies we will remember y'all

I had the most wonderful experience at Monkees two weekends ago.I was looking for birthday gifts for my sisters and the sales staff was so friendly and helpful. I bought tow pocketbooks made by a woman who lives in Blowing Rock. They are beautiful!!I was so excited about my purchase that I called back today and ordered another one. The girl that answered the phone, again, was so friendly, so helpful and so accommodating because I needed the pocketbook shipped. She could not have been nicer!! And they gift wrap beautifully!!:):)I highly recommend visiting Monkees while in Blowing Rock. It will not disappoint!!!

Don't go here unless you want to be treated like Julia Roberts in Pretty Women. Sales people didn't greet me. Just started at me while looking. Never again!!

Monkee's has a large variety of items at several price-point levels. Employees were helpful and friendly. I would have appreciated seeing a more diverse shoe size collection, as I wear 9.5 wide. Also, many sizes were XS-L; Monkee's needs more inclusive sizing for all body types.

Out of any Monkee’s location, the Blowing Rock store is by far the most welcoming. The staff here show such incredible customer service and are so beyond helpful in finding you outfits and styles that will exude your most confident self. I have bought jeans, shoes and earrings from this store over the years and I always leave feeling uplifted and confident because of the staff here. It is so worth a stop at this boutique if you are near the Blowing Rock or Boone area.

Monkees BR is my favorite place to shop for unique, high quality pieces. Their sales team and owners are truly the NICEST and most helpful people to work with. I love to pop in the store when I'm up in the mountains, but since I am not local I love to shop their site and Instagram. They ship so quickly and I always love everything I get from there! 100% recommend for treating yourself, gifts for friends and family, or finding pieces for any occasion.

Looking for a sweater, earrings and a wallet. Was excited to check out the store. The lady was welcoming, but followed us around the small store and watched us the entire time very awkwardly and without saying anything. Very odd. Mind you, I don't look messy or like I would steal, but they gave me the feeling of beach watched like a thief. I saw things I wanted to buy, but left because I felt uncomfortable.
