Beautiful items and cute shop that's in a historic church! Staff is super friendly and gracious! I bought a wind mobile for my mom's 80th birthday and I was talking to Kathy and shared that she has dementia. She wrapped it carefully with purple tissue paper and tied it with ribbon. She was so sweet! Thank you!

We love The Last Straw....!!......beautiful decorations and gift items galore....a must see when you're in town...you will want to come back.....we live 40 miles from Blowing Rock and we usually visit at least twice a year....

We recently bought some outdoor furniture from Roger and Julie at The Last Straw. The prices were very good and the furniture was top notch but the most impressive part was working with the staff. Everyone was helpful, friendly and professional. When we went back to collect the furniture, Brock was most helpful in loading everything and made sure nothing was damaged during our 200 mile journey.We highly recommend The Last Straw and will make time to visit again whenever we are back in Blowing Rock!

I found the management extremely helpful and understanding. I had a small order that arrived in several pieces. Instead of having me send the shipment back, they sent me a replacement. It was a generous gesture. i look forward to purchasing additional items from their wonderful selection.

Love to visit this store every time we come to town. Sadly today we weren't able to visit as the store closed at 5p vice 6p (as advertised on digital platforms). And so followed several other folks who were right behind us to visit this wonderful shop.
