Scott was recommended to us by a friend of my brother. We live in Wisconsin and had to sell my brother's home in Fairview due to a death. Scott was so willing to help with anything needed to get the house ready for listing. He helped with local regulations and requirements. We would have not known where to begin. Scott was always there to help. His professionalism was definitely part of his nature. Scott knows the real estate values of the area. But with that being said, he also had a "do whatever has to be done work ethic". Very communitive, letting us know if he was going to be unavailable or when he would get back to us. With the situation of this sale, being an estate, he worked very well with the attorney's office. Ironically, we never met Scott in person, but we feel a personal and professional relationship was built. We would highly recommend Scott Russell.

Scott really took his time to sit down with us and explain the whole property selling process. He worked up some comps to help set the price, which was more than we expected. While the property was on the market, Scott was prompt with answering any questions and kept us informed of any showings. He also sends out regular real estate market statistics to show what the market is doing, which were very informative. We ended up selling near our asking price and Scott once again was right there with us through the closing process. Her knowledge of the area and the right people to get jobs done made everything easier. Every time we hit what felt like a roadblock she was in the background deftly working to make it more of a small speed bump. Her communication was not only timely, but often preempted our needs, it was amazing. Kathy and I always enjoyed Black Mountain and its fun folks. And when the time came, we wanted to retire here. I came across Bob Sadlemire of Freestone Properties. He was great from first contact. Bob is an effective and experienced pro. He helped us identify a great build lot. It did not take much time (or drama). I recommend him.
