About Earthaven Ecovillage
Earthaven is an aspiring ecovillage in a mountain forest setting near Asheville, North Carolina. We are dedicated to caring for people and the Earth by learning, living, and demonstrating a holistic, sustainable culture. Since 1995, our community and surrounding neighborhoods have grown to about 75 adult members and residents plus about 25 children. We are building environmentally friendly homes in 14 neighborhoods, as well as developing farms and on-site businesses to create a village‑scale economy. Earthaven is open to new members and visitors. We offer tours, camping, rentals, and events.

There aren't too many times in my life that felt legitimately magical and spending time at Earthaven was one of them. It's am amazing place.

Spent a week here a few years back... Cherished the way the sense of place and community helped me tune into myself and inspire the imaginative acts that cultivate a compassionate world.
