They just worked on my 2010 ford explorer. They done a awesome job, it is running great now. They were transparent from start to finish as to what was wrong and what it would cost to fix. I feel they charged me a fair price to fix the problem. I will definitely be back as a return customer.

I can count on one hand how many times I've taken my car to a mechanic. I usually fix it myself. I had an A/C service done - I dropped it off the day before and they called me at 9am (9am!!) to tell me it was done and ready to be picked up. They asked follow up questions about work I've done to it myself that made me know they wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Price was very reasonable - I'll do less work on my own car now given the price I paid here. To top it off - I asked how often I needed to bring it in for A/C service. A dishonest shop would say "every year." They said, "Only when you notice a drop in temperature, but possibly never." Very honest mechanics!

We were visiting on vacation. We brought our car in for one issue and they diagnosed an additional one. And we are glad they did. We knew the car had issues, they identified them, explained them clearly and fit us in to their busy schedule. Trey and Jamie really seemed to take pride in their work and their reputation, and I believe the price was fair.

In Black Mountain on a mission trip and our church bus died as we coasted into Cove Auto Repair. They’d just closed for the day, but went right to work on the bus, fixed it, and then wouldn’t take payment—saying it was their good deed for the day. These guys obv know what they are doing and are good folks too!

I was on vacation in Black Mountain when my muffler went out. Although they can’t necessarily take on emergency repairs, Cove was still quick to get me in. They are super nice and—knowing I needed my vehicle to fully enjoy my stay in the area—got my Jeep in and out as quickly as possible. Their quote was completely reasonable and in line with my trusted repair shop at home. Plus, when the Jeep made some noise after the repair, they took it back and made adjustments. Would definitely recommend Cove.

I am so pleased with the service we received at Cove Auto Repair. Jamie and Trey took the time to walk through the history of the vehicle, make recommendations that were financially reasonable and within my budget, and quickly delivered on the maintenance and repairs to keep my vehicle running optimally. My wife and I had car trouble on I-40 near Black Mountain. Jamie, Trey, and Jamie’s assistant could not have been nicer to us. They quickly fixed our car and charged us very fairly. Their shop is immaculate and very organized! Jamie’s a great mechanic. We were fortunate to have found them!

Trey got all my information and spent the time to be sure of the symptoms and problem the brakes in my car have. He clearly spelled out the possibilities and the associated costs. After the diagnosis, Trey only did the necessary repairs and did not replace the rear brake calipers when only a mounting bolt fell out causing the caliper body to scrape on the rotor. He did offer legitimate additional maintenance and I gratefully accepted an oil change and filter change.It's it is delightful to know that there are repair shops that are honest and honorable.I would recommend cove Auto repair to anybody needing service work for their car.
