Went to buy a Vitamix A3500. After purchasing they cancelled my order and said they could not honor the price. Would not trust this store. Potential gimmick advertising.

Visited this little store yesterday and was blown away! I was able to purchase quite a few made in America products for my kitchen. Heritage Steel cookware, made in TN, was top on my list! Keeping America going! Also, the staff (one lady who’s name I did not get) was extremely helpful. Every time I had my hands full she came over to take my purchases off my hands. She is knowledgeable and very pleasant. I will return!

I can’t believe I just found out about this place after years of being here. They carry a wide variety of kitchen essentials and have many higher end brands that can be difficult to find in the Asheville area. They also carry local items, which is nice. The store reminded me of a local version of Williams-Sonoma / Sur La Table and I’ll be certainly be returning the next time I need to pick up something for the kitchen.

When I visit Black Mountain I have to go to the Common Housefly and usually buy something I just can't live without! Their selection is very good and unique.

Was getting ready to host an old fashion night at my house when I realized I didn't have any bitters. Figured I should grab some more booze as well, ABC doesn't sell bitters, but luckily they were able to recommend the selection at common housefly. If you plan of stopping in quickly, that's not going to happen. Especially if you're a foodie/love to cook like me. This place has everything and then some. Several types of bitters in different flavors. An amazing local selection that was looking a little bare but I assume that's just from the tourist being back in town. Spoons in every shape, size, color you can imagine. Trinkets and gadgets galore! I picked up 2 different bitters, some fancy ice cube makers and some cocktail salt. From first glance it looks like the store is fairly small but every inch is utilized neatly. Keep walking back and you'll see that the store has another ears in the back. Filled with more goodies for the foodie in your life. I could get into some serious trouble in this store. Lucky for me the prices are not unreasonable either. Stop on in, give yourself plenty of time, and ask question if you need help. The staff is quite lovely too!
