“First Bank in Black Mountain NC received a windfall profit when, after the closing of the local branch of Truist Bank, many of those employees made the trek across Hwy 70. These ladies were the reason I banked with Truist (who made a monumental error in closing their branch) and now bank with First Bank! They provide exceptional, friendly service and work for an excellent state/regional bank offering virtually everything I have previously enjoyed with other banks.”

“Nicholas, our loan officer when we bought our house, is amazing! He went above and beyond his job description to give us the information that we needed as first time home buyers. He is the only reason that we knew, as an unmarried couple, that unless we specify, our house would automatically be purchased as tenants in common. Our lawyer didn't even bring this up. Thankfully, we were informed of this and purchased our house as joint tenants so that, God forbid, should anything happen to either one of us the other person has complete ownership of the home. This would not have been the case with tenants in common. I ask for him directly now for anything loan related. He also likes to talk about chickens, which everyone else in my life is sick of hearing me talk about. Lol! ??? Yay!”
