I do not have any complaints about the employees or the lack of Variety. Actually, they are in the middle of a remodel, and it looks to be very nice. Unfortunately, I have had the experience of going back several times to get refunds from items I purchased on sale with MVP but the price on my receipt did not reflect. Customer service has always given me the refund after carefully inspecting my receipt.A few weeks ago as soon as I walked in the door, there was a table with blueberries on one side and blackberries on the other. There were signs on both sides that said hot sale MVP three for five dollars. Down at the bottom in very small print. It said blueberries or blackberries. I purchased three of the blueberries, which are very small containers. When I got home I saw that I had been charged five dollars apiece. Which came to $15 for three small containers of blueberries. Called customer service as soon as I Found this error because I had become accustomed to checking my receipt after every visit.Customer service said they would be glad to give me a refund so when I was able to get to the store and present my receipt, the person at the counter Told me that the small print at the bottom Said blackberries, but not blueberries And she could not give a refund. I asked her why would you put A sign for the price of the blackberries on the side where the blueberries were? You have two signs on a table that reflect the price of only one item? But your displaying 2 different berries, side-by-side with two signs saying three for five dollars? She did not have an answer but only that other customers had the same issue. I think practices, like this, are very deceiving, especially to seniors who cannot see very well. Yes, I’m not happy with Food Lion in Benson. I’ve had issues before, but I think this was dishonest And misleading. I realize Nobody’s perfect, but this was pretty obvious.

Consistently has spoiled food. I’ve purchased melted ice cream, moldy fruits and veggies, and expired shelf items. I’d let it slide if it was once in a while but it’s almost every other time I shop here!

I love coming to this grocery store, very kind people. My first bad experience was today with a white woman named JOANNE, I told her I was having problems with something I needed a return and she couldn’t do it gave me an ugly attitude, and was being so petty and ugly. I was able to get help from someone else, thankfully. For this reason, I WILL NOT BE BACK. JOANNE, you’re a waste of employee, you were racist and awful to talk to.
