I was just in there - when checking out the cashier had to deal with an extremely rude man. I wanted to say she handled it so well! I do not know her name but she needs something nice to happen to make up for the treatment she received! The man's card didnt work and as a rule she had to ask for his ID - he immediately starting dropping f bombs. Went out to his car and came back with a phone with a pic of his ID - that's still not acceptable- he got louder and then left the store still cussing and calling her every rude name in the book -left the parking lot still screaming and burning rubber - totally unacceptable!
I've been that girl. I've been yelled at and put down in front of others because of this exact thing. The store has rules and she was following them- she didn't make the rule, but she would most likely get fired if she got caught breaking it. Being a cashier is one of the hardest jobs because they have to deal with people like that! I hope the manager will see this and buy that girl lunch!!! She sure didn't deserve to be treated like that.

I placed an order off the Dollar General app for pick up. I had some really good deals and coupons that I used to get discounted items. When I went to pick up, the order wasn’t ready the kid acted like there was never an order placed. Then he went to go try to find my order on the floor and brought back two items and said this is all we have and left me. So therefore I was charged for my items full price without my discounts being used so I didn’t even get a discount. Very rude and too young to be managing a store. Maybe my order would’ve been fulfilled if they would’ve done it on time and not waited until the last minute. Very unsatisfied with a store in the choice of management.

Was there tonight. By far the rudest store I have ever walked into. We walked in right at 9:58, just to get some cough syrup. They were yelling across the store and said if we didn’t have our items up at the register by 10:03 we would have to put items up and come back tomorrow. I guess some people haven’t been raised right and don’t know not to rush someone out of a store. Will never go back here. would be different if we were staying and looking but we were just walking in. SO RUDE!! I’m very disappointed in this place. If i could give no stars I would. No respect for the costumers what so ever.

I strolled into my local dollar general not searching for anything in particular but came across CANDLES!! They carry seasonal pumpkin spice wood wicks!! I'm in love!! And associates are very friendly. The day I came in, it smelled really disgusting. But I overheard an associate talking about how she spilled a diffusing fragrance all over her or something. I had my AirPods in and tried not act like I heard that so she wouldn't feel embarrassed LOL.
