After searching in vain for a long time for just the right chairs to go on our back deck, I finally found what I was looking for at DFG. Kudos to Nick and Kelsey for going above and beyond to make my wife's birthday extra special this year. Very fair pricing, excellent service. I particularly appreciated that Nick gave me the option to save the delivery fee by coming to pick up the chairs myself, which I was happy to do. We will definitely be back.”
“My husband and I were “test driving” theater style recliners. We visited several other stores before we went to Ashley on Carolina Beach Road. John was with another customer but greeted us and pointed us in the right direction. When he finished with his customer he joined us to see how he could help. Very personable and knowledgeable with no hard sell tactics. We were so impressed with the comfort and style of the two seater for our FROG (my husbands ‘man cave’) that we bought the sofa as well for our living room (since we spend much of our time there together). John explored all Options for best pricing and explained additional savings with a deferred interest card. Needless to say we were quite pleased and purchased both. Looking forward to its delivery in a few weeks! If you visit the store for your own needs ask for John for the best shopping experience !”

It has basically been the only task we have had in moving that went smoothly! The sales associate John was welcoming and informative, but not pushy or overbearing. The lady who handled the paperwork and delivery arrangements, Angel, was true to her name, as construction jobs at our home forced us to keep pushing back the delivery date, and she showed incredible patience with us and accommodated us. The delivery guys Dante and Brad came on time and worked hard not only to set up our furniture, but also to adjust a couple of things that were a little off. “Updated 10-4-24:We just received our La-Z-Boy PowerReclineXR+. We ordered it 1½ months ago, and had it customized to our liking, with motorized headrest, lumbar support, rocking, wireless remote and grey woven fabric. It's really nice, and does everything it's supposed to do, well. It's very quiet too. Our sales person, Pat, did a great job finding the right unit for us. She was easy to talk to, and there was no pressure.
The delivery, coming out of Raleigh, went very well also. They informed us when it would arrive, with a 2 hour window. Their delivery app showed the route the truck was taking on Google Maps. The delivery was within 5 minutes of their their suggested time.
The 2 delivery men, JR and Dante, took out the old chair and set up the new one perfectly. They were very good and efficient, and were careful not to damage our wood floors.
If we have any more furniture needs, we'll go back to Pat at the Wilmington store.
(3 years ago)-Got 1 nice end table here. Decent price and trustworthy salesperson. However, do shop around at the many furniture stores for pricing and quality. AND ABSOLUTELY, check Google Map customer reviews for each store. Some stores have some pretty shady practices. Read about how some people have been gouged by the dishonest stores.”

In fact he told me the more expensive mattress I came in looking for was not necessary to get the best nights sleep. He was professional and helpful in my decision. “Fantastic service from start to finish!We, The State Port Pilot, needed help disassembling and reassembling our cubicle system for carpet replacement at our Southport, NC office. The staff at Thrifty were very responsive to our original inquiry and professional and easy to work through every aspect of our experience.The on-site crew did an incredible job. They were prompt, arriving exactly as scheduled. Their efficiency in taking apart the cubicles and fitting them into the limited areas out of the way of the carpet installers was amazing. Two days later they were back as promised and were able to reassemble the walls and desks in a different configuration with no problems or missing parts. Jay was instrumental in helping us figure out how to make our existing components work in new ways!We highly recommend this great company.”

“I, thought that Buddy's would have the same rude customer service as Aaron's,,Rent-A-Center, Best Rentals, and Helig-Mayers-before they went out of business. But it was the opposite way around. Buddy's never Sales or add anything on that I don't want or need. I have been dealing with Buddy's since December of 2022. I'm happy to say I paid off my tv last year in December. I'm still doing business with Buddy's today because of their proffisnanlizem and great prices. I'm paying $372 00 dollars a month for a brand new Ashley queen size bedroom set, a 75"Hisense Smart/Dolby Vision Tv,and a queen size mattress. I will continue to do business with Buddy's anytime I need something for my home! “The store has been newly rearranged! I love it. Mostly all of the nautical items have been brought to the left front of the store, the boutique remains in the same right front section. The floral desk and all the supplies are in the middle 2nd building. The majority of the furniture is in the very back. Awesome placement of the different sections with the same great customer service and choices of items!? This is one of my happy places!”

“We recently went to Ethan Allen thinking we wanted to buy a sectional sofa for our living room. We worked with Lisa Hurley and she was outstanding! She walked us through the store looking at different sofas, had us try out several different cushions to help us find what most comfortable and was fantastic at helping us choose a fabric. She has a great eye for color and gave honest opinions on wear and durability. After coming home to measure and think things over, we decided a sectional wasn’t right for our space and went back the next day with a new plan. I let Lisa know in advance and she had everything ready for us when we walked into the showroom. She helped us come up with a gorgeous design, and we can’t wait to see the result! Aside from her excellent design advice, Lisa is also extremely personable! It felt as if we were spending time with a friend, who just happened to be a design expert!”
