“Went to the store today & it was well organized, cleaned and honestly the best dollar tree in Gastonia! Spoke with the cashier and she told me its a team and they work hard and she thanked me for the comment and also introduced me to Mike one of the employers who she stated has been one of many to help keep the store clean, I told him the store looks great and keep up the great work!! Definitely My go to Dollar Tree”

“Dollar Generql on Hollifield in Gastonia: I visited today at 1230. Daniel, cashier very impressive: GENUINELY spoke to all customers as they entered, was readily available to assist. Was very attentive to needs- even the bagging of items. An excellent employee providing excellent customer care! What a rarity now days”
“This is my neighborhood store. The staff are like close friends now. They are friendly, fun and personable. I am very concerned with the increase of crime directed at this store. They need more security and live patrols. There have been two violent incidents in a very short amount of time. It makes me fear for the safety of the employees.
Update: this store is desperately in need of help. Managers especially! Please come apply!”

“It's family dollar the help is a little abrasive acting at times I guess they don't realize that they work for family dollar yet and are no better than anyone else maybe one day they will figure that out big parking lot just a little hard to get back out on main road at this location”
“I had one of the best shopping experience at this location during my visit around 8:45 am on Sep 25th.

Because I want to make sure that the right employees get the credit.
The gentleman who was working stock in the back of the store was working hard to make the store nicely presentable and greeted with a good morning while actually acknowledging a customer along with the cashier being polite and friendly!

“It was well organized and clean. Casher woman was sweet and didn't mind me asking a bunch of questions about the bluetooth headphones that were behind the counter. Kinda wish they were accessable for me to look at for myself. I like to study before purchasing and sometimes take some time to ponder.”

“Dollar General has been upgraded they now have a huge selection of food and items. There is more fresh foods and refrigerated items. This Dollar General is well stocked and maintained. Staff were welcoming and I had no problem finding the items I needed. Very pleased with my experience here at this Dollar General.”
“I would rather go 15 minutes out of my way just to go to this Dollar general then go to the one on highway 16 in front of Bloom. The one on 16 the staff is very rude and disrespectful. That's why you always find me at Dollar general in Stanley because all the stuff there is absolutely amazing they're sweet they know you on a first name basis as well as I do theirs they treat you like family you know. So yeah I got 15 minutes out of my way to go to a store that treats me lucky human being”
“A convenience store with cheap discounts. I don’t know if it’s because of the right time, but it’s hard to imagine that the aisles and shelves in the store are extremely neat and complete. As manufacturers across the country are out of stock, it is extremely rare for all consumer goods to be available on shelves. I found the supplies I needed in no time, and the service was very polite. Hopefully store cleaning practices remain the same.”
“I really enjoy this Dollar General! I just moved in the area and I enjoy crafting and being able to pick up something quick. This dollar general is always festive, organized and cleaaaaannn. Thank the Lord. Merchandise Mike is helpful. I’ve seen him in the store assisting customers and being kind. It feels like a whole community in there which I like. “Was looking for ice trays and couldn't find any. Asked one of the clerks and she took me to them and said there were more up front that were a little bit more expensive $1/$2. Couldn't find the ones up front so another clerk (who was off duty) took me to them. What a nice experience as a consumer. Good job Family Dollar team. ?”

“Biggest Dollar Tree I have come across, and I just had to go inside! It is grand for sure! They have a lot of things any normal dollar tree has but with a lot more variety! They are fully stocked of every item you can think of. Seasonal, beauty, snacks, laundry, home goods, everything. Found a bunch of items that sometimes aren't fully stocked at other locations. They did unfortunately only have two cashiers working, so the wait time was a while, but other than that, everyone was super friendly. Definetly will be back if I'm in the area.”

“This is the closest dollar store to us. The staff is always so friendly and the items always seem to be stocked as soon as possible. The only thing I would note is that the parking lot and sometimes the store remain a tad on the dirty side...but, nothing to stop me from going there to get the essentials”
“I stopped by this location with 2 young boys that I care for on a hot Wednesday afternoon. We were buying pool noodles and a pool. The boys were super excited. Everyone in the store was kind to them. My hands were full with the boys so a man went outside to get the biggest pool for us. The woman at the register helped to carry it outside. Unfortunately it did not fit in the back. All of us went back inside to buy tie-downs to put the pool on the roof. The associate asked her coworker if she minded if she helped me put it on top of my car. As we were working on this a kind man who was with an older woman offered to put it in his truck and drive it to the house for us.This trip could have been a disaster but instead it was a successful adventure. Everyone was kind and helpful so these excited boys could enjoy their day. I want to thank each of these helpers. This is going to be a whole summer of fun for these littles due to you!”

I’m from out of town so the family dollar was set up differently.
