I've followed Dr. Stephens to a handful of different practices now; she is wonderful and quite possibly saved my life during our first encounter with her rational but \\\"better safe than sorry\\\" approach. She always takes the time to not only talk and explain things, but to listen and go over options and possibilities. Not thrilled with the additional cost of the current concierge service, however, thus far it has drastically cut down on wait times and increased the ease of getting appointments and communicating with her and the staff. She usually replies within a couple of hours via the app. If time is money to you, then it is worthwhile and the cost is certainly worth it for her valuable time. She is great with my daughter as well, easy to talk to and not intimidating. I highly recommend her as a family doctor!

Over the years of having a Family Doctor. And been going to South Point Family Practice. I've een going for years and last year i've had Dr Courter. All my years of having a Family doctor. This in my Book are the Best. And Care about People and Health. Last few weeks I've been very ill. And they have reached out to me and make sure i'm ok and if I need anything. How many Doctors do that. And speaking on Dr Couter. Hands down the very best. And if ?? He was to ever leave. I'll be right there where he ends up. I've never seen such a Good Place plus Doctor. Anyone looking for a Caring Dr. Go to South Point. You will not regreat it. And very proud to say Dr Courter is my Life Saver !!!!!

It's painfully obvious that the primary focus of SPFP is generating revenue and not patient/customer support. And if that's how you roll, then good on ya, but at least be up front about it. Word of advice to SPFP: reign in the attitudes and learn something about providing positive customer service. For potential new customers, if you're looking for a group of doctors who will condescend and recommend lots of tests and medicines without providing a rationale beyond "that's what is recommended ..." then look no further, this is the place for you!

Marissa and Tiffany think they are there to play games and not customer service. I was very depressed and upset because they can't seem to make a simple transfer of my prescriptions to mail order. Instead of trying to do her job Marissa chose to get sensitive about how I speak. I have done customer service for over 40 years. You know when a person is frustrated they are not directing their pain on you, I just want the job done. I have handled situations for years without crying like a baby and having her friends get on the phone talking about what they tolerate. Do your job and all you have to tolerate is kindness. You are trying to hurt people. This clinic clearly needs some decent supervision. As other people have said the services are clearly and steadily declining. My Dr. is great but staff is heading downhill. they need to put down the candy crush and do their jobs.

About a week and a half ago, I was feeling pretty bad, with symptoms of an ear infection. I tried to get an appointment with my doctor here, and they were just now able to get me in today, a solid two weeks after I started feeling ill. So I show up for the appointment, wearing my mask and whatnot, they ask me the little COVID screening questions, and then some power hungry, wannabe important front desk lady tells me I have to leave because I had symptoms... of an ear infection. I tell them I'm pretty sure it was an ear infection because my ear was hurting and popping, that I never had a cough or any respiratory symptoms. I also told them the symptoms stopped four days ago, that I've been vaccinated and boosted, that I've tested negative for COVID twice in the past week, and they still told me I had to leave. I guess they expect me to shove a camera in my ear to let some app doctor examine it over FaceTime. The last thing they said to me (before loudly declaring to everyone in the lobby that I was contagious and needed to leave) was that they only see patients for well visits. I guess that means they aren't willing to see anyone who's ever had any symptoms of any illness ever in their life. So If you're in perfect health and are looking for a new family doctor to monitor your already perfect health, check them out! For anyone else who has ever had a cold, avoid the absolute idiots at this place.

Best family medicine practice in Gaston County! They have opened up their doors and are there to help the community and their patients get great care without being overcharged by large organizations. These Dr's really care about "making a difference" which is why they are a new independent practice.

Dr.Stephens is amazing! She always takes as much time as I need to discuss and needs that I have and is genuinely concerned with my health and well being. I always feel very comfortable discussing my health with her. She is a wonderful Doctor!

While I pay a copay, insurance pays the other amount due, which I still pay monthly premium for them to do so. With that being said, I'm not paying the doctors to stroke their egos, with my speech. If they get offended by my questions, or correction of time lines, is simply on the doctor. Remember, doctors, you are still providing a service, which we pay you to do. A little challenging questions and/or corrections by a patient, means patient compliance, understanding and adherence to a health protocol. Don't let your ego get in the way, when patients want to learn more or abide by healthy resolution to their ailment.

Even though i saw the low stars given i decided to give it a try on a friends recommendation. I thought from the check in to the actual appt followed up by labs went extremely efficient. I never had a long wait time anywhere. Everyone was friendly and courteous.

Dr Stephens is a joke , I would run from her and the sorry excuse for a practice she works for. It’s a about money with her, her and her staff lied to my face, asked me to do ridiculous amounts of work to get a prescription refilled and then refused to refill anything without having me come in a month after and paying $150 office visit. Then after I complained her unprofessional office assistant asked me if I was done with “my rant” for questioning why they keep changing their statements and decisions.
