This review is Not FOR THE BELMONT STORE but for THE FRANKLIN STORE IN GASTONIA. Big Disappointment! This Store is dirty ! We came looking for furniture as our location in Pineville is great with a huge selection of furniture but when we got here to this store it only had like 3 sofas that were so dirty I would not let a dog sit on them! The store is very cramped but they did try to have the Christmas section layout was nice. We were there in November. The rest of the store was disorganized and the products on the shelves especially appliances looked damaged or returned. The employees I give 5 STARS as they were very polite and working so hard on Thanksgiving day. We are so upset that the next closest location is in Belmont but hopefully this store will be a positive experience. I spent over 30 miniutes online looking for furniture at the BELMONT STORE but the selection was confusing compared to the Big Lots in Charlotte on South Blvd.. .I AM HOPING THE BELMONT STORE IS MORE LIKE MY STORE IN CHARLOTTE. But did not find a sofa available online.

I went there and got some Christmas decorations. I was in the store for about an hour "browsing". I do not think, I went ten minutes with out a "Can I help you Sir?" Being disabled, that's nice because nothing is worse than searching the store for help to get an item, you can not reach. The cashier was very friendly and offered to get someone to help me out to my truck with my purchase. I didn't need it. But it was nice she offered.

Personally I will never be going back into that store. I think management should be changed they are not professional and I heard one of the white managers using racial slurs and saying some very inappropriate things alone those lines. The way management talks about there employees with each other in front of customers is very unprofessional and very disrespectful they way the managers run the business and threat there employees is very unsettling it’s a very busy Time of the year and they talk down on there employees when everyone is stressing out. I was very disrespected by one of the higher managers when I went in there.

I went to look at matresses as Big Lots had a whole section of them once. Not any longer. If they are not gonna sell them any longer then get rid of all of them...in all stores. There are Mattress Stores on every corner.

My expirence in the Belmont store this evening was absolutely horrible I would rate this visit tonight a 1 out of 10. The young lady name Dawn that was sent to point me in The correct direction for a particular item was VERY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. I haven NEVER been treated and talk to the like while shopping in this store in which I spend WELL over 100 dollars everytime in doing so! The way she carried on Cursing and ranti g was classless and very distasteful. With an attitude such as that she should NOT be working in customer service! It was very hard to keep my composure as she blatantly disrespected me and talked about I. Front of the other costumers my child and other employees. I would like to thank 2 guys in the store Isaiah and Steven who tried to help be as much as possible as well as apologies for the woman's behavior. I will be making a complaint I AM VERY DISCUSSED and Dissatisfied!

I came in with low expectations and was totally blown away. The store is so nicely staged. I honestly was expecting that it was going to look like a hoarder's house. I was wrong. The staging is so thoughtful with many different decor examples. Really sets the tone as you walk into the store. It gives the store a homey feel.I was shopping for a living room set or sectional. Alaina greeted me immediately. Then, gave me a little time to look around and then approached me to ask if I had any questions. She was so amazing. She took the time to look at pictures of my room and talk through the different choices. What amazed me is that she was able to give me individual attention while still answering questions without seeming rude to anyone. Just a great experience.
