Couldn't recommend the Inn on Turner more for anyone looking for an amazing stay right in the heart of Beaufort. We felt right at home thanks to Kim Bell and enjoyed amazing food and service. Super personalized service (including great recommendations for things to do around town town AND on our drive home) and a great mixture of a cozy B&B feel with modern touches ( like keypad door locks) and cohesive, coastal decor. We will definitely be back!

We have never stayed at bed & breakfast before so we were a little unsure what we were getting in to. However, we quickly felt right at home upon arrival. We were greeted by Kim who offered information on local restaurant options. Our room was super comfortable with a queen bed and our own private bathroom. Breakfast was amazing and obvious that Kim takes a lot of pride in preparing. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests and each sharing about our adventures the previous day. Kim joined us again at the end of breakfast to provide information about local events, businesses, and places to eat. 10 out of 10 we'd stay here again. This house is well cared for and very clean. Thank for making our first stay at a bed & breakfast a pleasurable and memorable one.

Our second stay at IOT. The food (breakfast), location, welcoming atmosphere and helpful innkeeper (Kim) make a wonderful package. We feel at home here and we'll be back.

The Inn on Turner has been the most wonderful bed & breakfast I've ever stayed in. The amazing inn keepers have thought of literally everything to make it better than home away from home. The inn is nestled right in the heart of Beaufort, and is walking distance to the water. It is clean, well cared for, and holds a truly peaceful quality that is simply ideal for relaxing. After a full day at the beach, we were able to come back to our rooms, take showers in our private bathrooms, and go to bed on incredibly comfortable mattresses and pillows. The inn keepers did not crowd or bother us at all, but left ample ways to contact them should we need anything. We noticed the locally made special touches, such as soaps, candles, and lotion. We will most definitely stay again. Kim and Jon are wonderful hosts and I'm grateful they share this little slice of Heaven with us.
Rooms: You are greeted by a beautifully decorated clean room. There are 2 rooms with a queen bed and 2 rooms with a king bed. Each room has its own private bathroom. Rooms have ample lighting, large fans to compliment the central air, and sound machines. The rooms are stocked with locally made soaps, lotions, candles, and incense. The beds are as comfortable as a bed can possibly be. The rooms have a very peaceful, calming effect.
Nearby activities: Exploring downtown Beaufort & it's history
Shopping
Ferry rides to local islands
Fort Macon
Light House
Escape room
Safety: We felt very safe the whole time we were staying. The front door remained locked and each individual room also had locks.
Walkability: This beautiful B&B is in the heart of Beaufort. It is only a 5 minute walk to the water's edge. There are safe sidewalks on both sides of the street.

There aren't too many good things that can be said about this establishment, or it's keepers! The place itself was like home, literally. Great location. Walk a few blocks to the water and all the things in town. The bed was super nice and comfortable. Everything was clean and spotless. Old, classic charm from its roots. Start your day with hot coffee that they provide and then some happy hour wine in the evening before dinner! The hosts were great. Miss Kim is hands down the coolest chick, ever! Super sweet, knowledgeable, and awesome yo help you plan for ALL the things! She will help you along the way, as much or as little as you need. Their food was AMAZING!!! The breakfast is something you cannot miss! (Amazing and included with your stay!) They even have options to make dinners for you at a price. It's a green establishment, so they do all they can for the environment and their area. The food/ingredients are even from local farms. Literally farm to table, and you can tell. We can't wait to return!Rooms: Room was perfectly clean, roomy and super comfortable bed. (If you like soft)Nearby activities: Only a couple block walk from dinner, bars, live music, fancy lattes, great water views and historic homes.Walkability: Easy walk to everything. Sidewalks to all.

I can’t say enough about our experience at the Inn on Turner. Only wish we had more than two nights with them. My husband and I don’t get away by ourselves very often and he surprised me with our stay at the Inn on Turner. Kim and Jon couldn’t have been more helpful and we enjoyed everything from the decor, the bedding, how clean and comfortable everything is and so much more. I had been to Beaufort, my husband had not and he fell in love with Beaufort. We will be back and would not hesitate to stay at the Inn on Turner. You won’t be disappointed. Until next time…

Pure perfection is the best way to describe our experience. Starting from my initial contact with Kim until leaving the Inn on Turner, our experience was 5 star! We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday with a "surprise trip" to Beaufort, NC and we chose the Inn on Turner as our home away from home. He had no idea where we were going until we arrived. Our family and friends were all there to welcome us for the surprise. The historic home is lovely with a coastal feel, original art everywhere, luxury linens and very comfy mattresses...just steps away from the lovely town of Beaufort. The FOOD, oh my goodness! Incredible and the best part... the food is organic and locally sourced! Kim and I worked together to plan a 3 course dinner that was hosted at the IOT! A magical evening to say the least. Each course was introduced by the Inn Keepers Kim and Jon making for an fun and intimate evening celebrating. Prior to arrival, I received recommendations for local activates for our group and every question was answered to the finest detail. WE WILL be back to this magical place.

I spent 4 days and 3 nights at this inn and it was the absolute best. Kim and Jon are wonderful and so accommodating. They truly enjoy what they do and it shows through all the details. They have so much knowledge about the area and all the different activities there are going on. Kim literally saved our beach day by suggesting we grab a sandwich from Turner Street Market before heading out on the ferry (best idea ever). They were available to answer our questions and made us feel so comfortable during our stay. The Inn is located in a great spot in Beaufort and within walking distance to so many things. The only time we drove anywhere was when we traveled to another city. We walked the entire stay which made the vacation even better. Kim and Jon curated an amazing breakfast. They really made our stay so relaxing and carefree. I can not wait for our next visit!!

Where to begin, the background and outside feel was warm and inviting. The sound of the wind chime in the garden patio could induce tranquility in itself. We get inside to find our key accompanied with a nice welcome letter. We find our room and bring our bags in.. I immediately lay on the bed and when I tell you, this bed was comfortable.... It was COMFORTABLE, the pillows were plush and where most places only have two, they had four. Each pair was a different firmness to cater to different sleepers, whether back or side. The air was clean, the room smelled great (not what you expect from a historical house) but I digress.. We both slept wonderfully, thru the night. I'm usually an early riser so thanks to recommendations I was able to go and grab a coffee before the complimentary coffee was served. Then on to Breakfast. We all sat ourselves and when 9am rolled around our hostess came out and greeted everyone. She then explained the meal we were about to receive in elegant detail. I will say, the taste lived up to expectations per the introduction. All in all, I can't say enough nice things about our stay other than we will return for our anniversary next year.

My husband and I had a lovely and relaxing getaway at the Inn on Turner. Kim and Jon made sure our experience was perfect in many ways. Our room was pristine and comfortable, the breakfasts made from local, fresh ingredients were scrumptious, and the wine choices at each afternoon's social hour were well-chosen. Each morning, Kim was available to answer any questions and offer up suggestions for fun activities and experiences around Beaufort. Relaxing on the porches was a perfect way to end each day. We are already looking for a time to return to the Inn this fall when the weather is a little cooler! If you're looking for a top-notch B & B experience in the Beaufort area, look no further--this place is a gem!
