I'll say very nice even though I'm a mountain man. Couldn't find my horse LOL it's a very nice place well kept very clean and from the mountain man at heart, it's interesting! Personally saltwater is disgusting from a chef's perspective it smells like rotten seafood soup that's been sitting in the sun forever. ? And yes I have swam in that soup nothing like Colorado Rocky mountain fresh spring water!

Great marina with everything you need. However, it's a bit pricey if you're transient docking 23 ft boat.

This is my 7th trip bet NY and FL. Probably the 50th marina stop. First time at Homer Smith and it was a phenomenal marina. Limped in on one engine after the fuel dock was scheduled to be closed and Dan was accommodating and even helped with mechanic suggestions. We were able to repair but needed to pick up parts a few miles away. They made it easy since along with a lounge and 3 sets of free washer/dryers, they have a courtesy car. Great marina, will stop there again.

We went on Captain Ron's Island Tours. Very good tour guides. Beautiful down to earth people and it was a very nice ride.

Beautiful new marina where there were shrimp docks, 2 new floating transient docks along with several docks worth of boat lifts. A new clubhouse with 3 immaculate shower/toilet rooms, as well as complimentary great laundry. The boaters lounge held a small kitchen and comfortable couches to enjoy the big TV, a nice respite in cold weather. Excellent dockmaster took good care of us, and really appreciated use of the courtesy van and plenty of shopping available in Moorhead City. The marina was nicely situated in the quiet part of Beaufort, but quick walk through beautiful neighborhoods to downtown historic district and restaurants.

Amazing marina! Fantastic staff who made our stay so incredibly enjoyable! The washroom, shower and laundry facilities were impeccable and very much appreciated! Ohhh and the use of the courtesy vehicle was the best when it came to getting parts or provisioning! Thank you so much Homer Smith Marina! We will be back!?
