I was charged $55.82 for 7.7 quarts of Chevron Synthetic Blend 5W-20. This retails at Walmart for $17.44 for 5 quarts. Do the math and the cost should have been $26.85 for 7.7 quarts. This means I was double charged for the price of the oil. With labor, filter, taxes, and "misc. fees" the total bill for oil change was $100. This is about $40 higher than what I am used to paying, and it did not include any extras like fluids top-off or tire rotation. I was very surprised at the deceptive and extremely high pricing considering how highly he was recommended.
