3948 Caratoke Hwy, Barco“Good people work here so please have patience and remain courteous - Good morning sunshine ? fresh coffee ☕ fresh donuts ? - Keto, Carnivore, and Vegan snack options are also available. Hot food available. Nachos! You can't buy beer here on Sunday morning and this archaic religious law is NOT the cashier's fault. Restroom on premisis but sometimes out of order. Slurpee and fountain drinks. Hats and gloves. Quarter operated air pump for tires. Gas tanks for grilling. Bags of ice. Four gas pumps ⚠️SLOW DOWN⚠️ because the entrances to the main road are short and steep. The entrance closest to the stop light is VERY steep with a rain gutter dip on top. Honey suckles grow here during the summer. Sometimes chickens in the parking lot in the morning. Please respect our 7-11 if you are a tourist. Fresh pizza and wings.”

4511 Caratoke Hwy, Coinjock“The BEST desserts in NC! Yes, really! All locals know that Kevin's is the place to go for the best desserts around, created daily and fresh, right next door in Cindy's Kitchen. From 12-layer, Lemon, and Red Velvet Cakes, to huge and decadent Muffins, and everything in between! My favorites are the Oreo and Pig-Pickin' cakes, and any of the double-stuffed ginormous cookie sandwiches. All/most come in single serve (huge), up to 1/2 and full sized cakes. If you're ever on Rt 168 going to or from the Outer Banks, look for the "Liberty" gas station (can't miss it), and stop in! *CLOSED Sundays*You can thank me later ;-)”
“I absolutely love this place! The food is always good, they have some amazing desserts and their brownies are to die for. I always get the exact same thing every time I go, chicken bacon ranch wrap, and they always accommodate the changes I ask for and they make it EXACTLY the way I like it every single time! The portions are perfect for the price too, I don’t feel like I’m paying too much for too little. I love everything about this place. It’s my go to spot for lunch or to grab an energy drink before work. I’m familiar with a few of the staff and they are always so kind and welcoming when I come in! One of my favorite places in Currituck!”
“After reading the reviews for Barco Food Mart, I chose to visit it over the other convenience stores nearby. I read reviews mentioning the nice restrooms and I was not disappointed! The staff was very kind and greeted my friends and me when we came in. The restroom was clean and nice. The prices were really great and I got 3 snacks and 1 drink for $10. One of our friends got a drink the size of a small child for very cheap. My friends and I all thought that the woman checking us out was kind and provided excellent service! I am satisfied with my trip to Barco Food Mart and will look forward to returning if I get the chance. I plan on naming my future dog “Barco” in honor of the amazing Food Mart.”
