My son and I have fished all over the east coast. From the Niagara River around Grand Island south to the Graveyard of the Atlantic we've had a blast. Tuna, sharks and bass have always seemed to find their way to us but we'd never tried fly fishing, until last week. What a different experience! For both of us it was more important to learn the basics first. Not unlike shooting, it was easy to see even before we started that if we tried to just wing it on our own we would quickly develop bad habits from ignorance.This is where you need Pat Stone. His hands on expertise, INSANE knowledge of the sport and the science plus his passion for teaching make all the difference when starting out.I can't thank him enough for having the patience to take two bumbling fly fishing novices out on the water. Will be booking more trips as the hockey season allows.
