Loved this shop. Employees very friendly. Sale items on porch. Very fully stocked with most everything you would expect from a secluded island gift shop. Toys for kiddos. Clothing for an array of sizes. Gift wears galore. Beauty items, too. One suggestion is to identify the locally made items as such.

We were here on the day they had the free beer and wine tasting! So awesome! And they had some corn bread to share (bake with Texas Pete!) so good! Well this is an amazing place to check out. The staff are amazing people!

My family and I did the scavenger hunt created by the Conservancy and had a great time exploring the island. The classes and information from the staff is a great resource and they are a great resource for keeping BHI amazing.

Our annual trip to BHI always includes a stop at Turtle Central. We love spending our money in a way that also benefits the environment and especially the turtles. Also, we always find great souvenirs and gifts for all of us. My husband, my 16 year old stepson, my 9 year old daughter and I always find wonderful treasures and have for years. I can't think of another store where we can find something perfect for each of our diverse group!!

I stopped in here while biking around the island and was surprised to find an awesome selection of everything from sweatshirts to kids toys to beach items to dog leashes. There is a lot to look through, and I was happy to be there on a "slower" day since there wasn't a lot of space to walk around, although there were still quite a few people there for the off season. I would definitely recommend. I wish they had water/bathrooms since there is nothing else around, but understand they were out of water because of a race they had over the weekend.

All Staff was extremely rude and laughing/making fun of family while they were trying to shop outside looking through sale bins. Very unprofessional. If refolding clothes was such an issue for the staff they should find a new job:)
