“By far the best place to stop when you are in the area! We stopped in today and found many treasures. They have a wide selection of OBX gifts as well as a lot of beautiful shells at very reasonable prices. We also bought a bracelet with glow in the dark beads that is just adorable, and the beads glow impressively well. The owner was very welcoming and sweet.”

I always buy my own trip souvenir from here because I love their jewelry, and we love the owner, Michelle. She is a local to Hatteras Island.”

“My wife and I are so thankful for Jeff, his wife and Hattiebuilt for saving our trip to Ocracoke Island. Last week we drove down from Maryland in our own jeep and experienced some brake issues. Luckily, we found Hattiebuilt and was able to rent a Jeep from them so we could continue on to Ocracoke. I was stressing about trying to find a place so far from home that could service our Jeep. Jeff and his wife offered to fix our Jeep brakes while we were on the island. Not only did they save our trip but fixed our Jeep at an extremely fair price. We will always be thankful for their kindness and generosity. I hope anybody who reads this review, contacts Hattiebuilt if they need a Jeep to rent.”
