I remember paying 40$ for 2 hours on a 100yd range. TRC membership is well worth the money, hands down the best best shooting complex I’ve ever been on.

Best training in North Carolina. If you want to learn advanced shooting skills I highly recommend TRC.

Superb Range. Well laid out with covers and benches for equipmemt. Clear and reasonable range rules are enforced. Normally not busy during the week. The only interaction Ive had with owners and range officers has been positive, and normally to provide useful range information or friendly banter. There is no other range within 160 miles, maybe further, that is of this quality and well laid out. Within guidelines, bring your handguns, shotguns, carbines and long rifles.Membership is well worth the cost.

I signed my son and I up for the Level 1 Carbine class. Dave was a great instructor and was very patient in answering my sons questions and offering him tips. The class was ran very well and the facilities are top notch. We will definitely be returning for more classes!

Perhaps the best firearms training in the state of North Carolina. I had the pistol 1 class with Instructor Alan H, and he went above and beyond to make sure our group understood the curriculum. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that my skills went up exponentially after I took a class here today.

I recently partook in one of their hosted courses involving low light/ home defense. The training given appears to be more about show than effectiveness. My thoughts were confirmed after I emailed TRC a week ago and received no response after presenting an overview of the undeniably unsafe tactics, coupled with useless and outdated techniques. Save your money and seek training else where.**Update**Still no response from ANY staff from TRC after almost a full month. This should be enough evidence for everyone they don’t care. They are here to collect your money and that’s it. Companies like this need to be shutdown. The training put out from this establishment is inadequate.**Update 2**After three months I was finally able to speak with a senior staff member about the deplorable training. The staff member identified himself as John. John did not understand the principal of setting standards and refused to acknowledge the class being a poorly conducted class. John found it easier to dismiss my review by stating I wanted a refund which had NEVER been brought up. I did not wish to receive a refund I wished for better training and training people could count on or revert back to in a life altering situation. For the record I have prior training with national and many regional stage instructors. My review is purely objective. These guys rely on and target people just starting their training with no prior basis for training. Seek training elsewhere!!! The owner and staff lack the ability to humble themselves and conduct self evaluations of their true knowledge in training and dissemination of information.-RobYou have my number.

Completed the one day Tactical Medical Training (Civilian) course taught by TRC Instructor "Rick" who is a Retired Green Beret Medic who continues to train current Green Beret medics. He is up to date on the subject matter and the latest procedures from the battlefield. The course was excellent with lots of hands on experience using dummies with changing wound trauma. After introduction in the classroom we went to the field and ran scenarios requiring damage assessment and hands on applying tourniquets, chest seals, and bandages. Each person had about 10 runs with a partner with Instructor Rick overseeing the entire process and offering suggestions after each run. This is a course for managing trauma until a higher level of help can arrive. This is truly a course that can mean the difference between life and death. To have Rick critiquing each run is priceless and no prior experience is necessary to take the course. I left the course much more knowledgeable then I expected I would. An excellent course and an excellent Instructor.

Had the pleasure of taking a class at TRC yesterday. The heat was blistering (108F), but so was the level of staff professionalism and instruction. Instructors Bailey and Sherbert shared real world, no fluff training that would have been of value at triple the price! Do yourself a favor. Check your ego, and take a class with TRC. You will walk away at the end of the day with several action item goals cemented in your mind to improve upon.
