The lady working the closing shift was very rude. I was on the phone talking to my friend about what to get for my husband's birthday. I had a few comic books in my hand and the lady says "Hey you". I looked over not realizing she was speaking to me and she was tapping her wrist and said "it's about time to close". I instantly apologized because I was unaware of the closing time and she goes "i just wanted to let you know because you are chatting instead of buying". Worst customer service ever.

A terrific book store that I simply was not expecting in AB. It is staffed by kind and knowledgeable folks and their offerings - oh so much! If your looking for bestsellers, fantasy, comics, non-fiction, children’s, and on and on (!), you’ll likely find it here. I love to support a small business bookstore and Beach Book Mart felt like an excellent place to spend my book dollars. Check them out for yourself!

I LOVE going to this book store. The front desk girl, Maddie or Mattie (sorry if I butchered that), is AMAZING!!! I love her energy and how she presents herself. I once told her that I love reading mangas, horror and mysteries, and she always has a new book suggestion! The place is also always clean and tidy. Anyways, I love this place and that girl is an absolute gem and my favorite book girly! ? ?

Lovely bookshop with plenty of options for everyone! Even though it's a small business, the prices aren't more expensive than a large corporation. I walked in not expecting to leave with an entire book set, but I sure did! You can't just get book 1 when the whole, matching set was right next to it. Friendly and helpful staff was a bonus less commonly found in larger name bookstores.

I'm so thrilled to know about this bookstore. They've got a great selection of adult and children's book, good sales racks, and super friendly staff. We found what we were looking for. Parking is free and easy, and there's an ice cream store in the same shopping center. It's a great activity for a hot summer afternoon: find a new great read and have a great too.

I was excited to take my family today to support a local bookstore and stock up for our week here just like our family supported the local beach bookstore during my childhood. We walked in the door and my husband asked if there was a trash can where he could throw away his club soda can. The one girl up front was very nice but the other girl made a huge deal about how food trash could not be thrown away inside and that he needed to use the trash can outside. It wasn't the principle that I had an issue with, had she asked nicely if would have been no big deal but instead she treated us like we had asked to throw away a 4 day old tuna fish sandwich. Despite this we dropped over $100 in their store which no doubt would have been less on a well known online retailer. She would do well to learn that customers pay her paycheck and next time be polite and kind in asking a customer to use the trashcan outside.
