NO SHOP CAN REASONABLY HAVE THIS MANY PART AND LABOR FAILURES:
1. Xpertech replaced my engine TWICE because they dropped something inside the first replacement and it had to be replaced a second time. That three-month long misadventure cost me two thousand dollars in rental car costs and prevented me from visiting my sick mother who died soon after.
2. Xpertech replaced my catalytic converter THREE times.
3. Xpertech replaced my air compressor THREE times.
4. Xpertech replaced my struts TWICE and the second time was after Hunter Volvo wrote on August 8, 2022, and I quote, “LEFT FRONT STRUT IS NOT ASSEMBLED CORRECTLY CAUSING INTERFERENCE WITH BEARING AND HELPER SPRING.”
After bringing my car back to Xpertech several times for noise in the front suspension/struts, it turns out that not only did they not assembly the first strut repair correctly but they failed to replace the top hats and strut assembly and the entire repair has to be redone a THIRD time. The initial strut repair was fully paid for by a third party, so there was no need for Xpertech to skimp on those parts or labor.
5. Xpertech failed to correctly diagnosis a problem with my rear suspension which plagued me for two years and tripled the cost of that repair.
I finally had my attorney contact them last month and they couldn’t have proven themselves to be nastier or more incompetent. After weeks of dragging my attorney around, they finally gave us *some* of the information we asked for while repeatedly asking what law was broken and wasting more of my time and money.
Save your money and your sanity and find a shop that will fix it right the first time.

Real great folks. Very appreciative for them getting me in when I was in a bind. I came in with car trouble, stranded from out of state, and their whole shop was booked til mid next month. But Kevin said, come back on Monday and we’ll see if we can get you in. And they sure did, they told me it was a blown head gasket, gave me advice on what to do, and didn’t even charge me for the diagnosis. Really swell folks. 10 out of 10.

Ben and Kevin were really awesome to work with quick, fast, and reliable service....fixed my ac and its blowing really cold thank you guys for the wonderful work and experience....would highly recommend Xpertech Car Care to anyone in need of any car service

If I could give a minus review for this place, I would. Their mechanics are great. Ben (?) is horrible. He is rude, impatient, and lets his feelings be known about the type of vehicle you own. He is snotty and I would ride a tricycle before I used this place. Many more places to choose from that have friendly, respectful and decent people working upfront. I never made it to my appointment. After the way this man spoke to my husband, I wouldn't spend a dime of my money there. Not impressed with them, at all.

The dreaded check engine light led me to Xpertech. The shop was as busy as the backstage of a theater on opening night, and just as well orchestrated... Yes, they were able to work me into their rotation if I could just wait. Yes... Grateful!
I was mesmerized to watch Kevin, Ben, David, and the entire team expedite an extraordinary kaleidoscope of humans with cars needing care. These folks are highly professional, competent, honest & provide a level of service and genuine humanity that I have not ever experienced from a car repair shop.
I only regret that, after 40+ years of my adult life in Asheville, it has taken me this long to discover this treasure. Grateful here & now. Thank You. Bravo! Peace... Shae?

Kevin did a great job changing my transmission fluid. Performed a complete transmission fluid change, which most shops don't do. Called me with a price quote before he performed the service. Kevin was actually cheaper than another shop who did the halfway job. Thanks Kevin for your expertise and excellent service.

I had a short somewhere in the electrical system of my old camper van. It was draining the battery and was a real nuisance. Xpertech managed to find the problem and fix it and the expected follow on issues. They communicated with me throughout so I knew what was going on. I definitely feel like the bill was very fair for the work accomplished. This is why I take all of my old vehicles here! Thank you again.

For as much as these mono's charge to work on a car...they should know to tip on a catered delivery for 20 people...but alas, they rather steal from the driver who is paying for 100% of his/her own gas, insurance, car, etc.

I was in town on vacation and had a coolant loss issue. I stopped in with no appointment and only basing off Google reviews. As an out of town visitor with no knowledge, I can’t thank Kevin and his team enough for the help in diagnosing a potential issue. Fortunately, it isn’t something that would have interrupted my trip but being away from home and away from regular mechanics, I can’t say enough that this shop is legit. If I lived in the area, they would be my main mechanic and shop. They could have been dishonest and charged me for all kinds of stuff, but they didn’t. They took me in the shop, showed me what to watch, and they had me on my way. There are still kind and honest people in the world.
