This is a gem… History art architecture and more. I’m so glad it has been preserved. I just wished the lunch counter would’ve been open when I was there.

I was giving visiting friends a tour of our beloved city, when one of them found the galleries in the old Woolworth's building. I hadn't been in there before, but was pleasantly surprised by not just the quality of many artist's works, but also the prices, which I found to be reasonable. Both the main floor and basement have been turned into small display areas for (maybe 150 local artists). My fave display was the HD with a wooden gas tank and fenders. It was Beautiful. Of course it can't be ridden like that, but all that chrome and polished wood was a nice homage to murdersickle riders everywhere. There is also an old fashion ice cream shop on the first floor.

An old Woolworth that has been kept alive as an art gallery. Inside is a small soda fountain as a nod to the old Woolworths.

Neat place in a former department store. Dozens of artist booths and a rehabed soda fountain. Great way

Fabulous. There were four of us for lunch. Everyone loved their food. Plates were left empty. It was great. Can't wait to return.

This location is everything. I’m from out of state. Going to this town was the best experience. Gave me rustic artsy vibes and I’m all for it. The gallery made it so much better. My boyfriend and I are art people and all the art there was great and different. I definitely recommend it. Also head over to the coke bar and get an old fashion malt.

A former retail space turned into a nice (& busy) gallery for multiple artists. This place has a variety of crafts (wood, metal, pottery, glass, etc.) and artwork created by locals who have booths throughout the two floors. The beautiful work for sale upstairs is not cheap but reasonable for the amount of time it must have taken to produce. The downstairs seems more like bargain basement for the less valuable work. Something for every avant-garde taste.

This is a free local art gallery that deserves to be much more popular. The historical milkshake maker is the main attraction but the art is why you should be visiting. You find a main level and basement filled with photographs, water color, and digital art. Sometimes the artists will even be there to discuss their work. You can stay as long as you'd like to fully appreciate the galleries.

Poor diner service. When we walked up, staff was chit chatting with a friend. After extensive conversation that staff member walked away no words, no acknowledgment to us. Stood at the register 10 - 15 min. Another staff member came over to take our order and let us know that food orders were no longer being taken at 3:10 in a Sunday. There should be more signage that the kitchen isn’t open 1 hour to close. One sign on the door with hours and a disclaimer at the door is inadequate. Signage should be posting prominently online, at the register, and on the blackboard. Walking away from customers without a word is inadequate.I will be back because I work downtown and I’m broke and this is one of the few reasonably priced places left, but I hope service improves. I’ll call ahead so I don’t waste my break not eating next time.

This place is neat! If you are looking for nearly every type of art or craft you'll find it here! It's basically an indoor flea market filled with booths offering homemade fare from soaps to essential oils n creams to bath salts to jewelry to artwork using any medium that comes to mind! They have a recreation (or maybe original) woolworths bar to get drinks n food! Take a stroll through I guarantee you'll find something. Everything is self serve and you pay on the way out!

Very fun to just see the sign for Woolworth's! I remember it fondly from back in the day as a kid with all the little treasures you could find. And the ice cream soda fountain counter is still there where you can sit on a red stool and enjoy a shake or a malt and a burger or dog. The big wide stairways to downstairs is still there which was always so fun to run up and down. Lots of memories and nostalgia there! The store now is a arts and craft gallery where of course all the items are for sale. Lots of different booths with any craft you can think of from art, sculpture, metal work and the list goes on. Fun to see the old store again.

There are some Karen’s that work here. I am into vintage elevators and I simply took a small peek at an area where I thought one might exist. An employee was incredibly rude to me, and telling me that I don’t belong back in the area. The thing is, I never went back there. I can totally understand that however I simply took a look. Had she been polite about it, This would’ve been a five star review. To credit this is a really cool place minus the Karen.

Beautiful place to wander in! Simple food at the old Woolworths counter revival!
