I brought some coins in to get looked at. The guy only looked at a few bags of coins that I had out instead of looking at all of them & said they aren't worth much before taking the time to look at all of them. Very lazy & unprofessional.

I recently got back into coins and stacking and have been blown away by WNC Coins the last few weeks I've dropped in.
The shop is clean, well-lit, and has plenty of parking. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, kind, and there to help. You can tell they have a deep love and appreciation of all things coins and that excitement is contagious.
They offer a strong variety of coins, all of which are amazingly priced, and the majority of which are graded.
I'm looking forward to WNC Coins being "my LCS" for years to come and would highly recommend others to stop by and see for themselves.

Michael, who's been collecting coins since age 6, is in this business for the love of the craft. It's so obvious by the way WNC Coins feels when you enter the store and with how much care and kindness they treat each client.My dad's been collecting coins for a lot of his adult life, so when I was looking to sell some BU silver AEs, I was delighted to find Michael. Having sold coins in the past in the Washington, D.C. area, I felt less than impressed with the businesses I was dealing with up there. I found I was often treated great the first time I went in and then the subsequent visits brought anxiety and anticipation of being ripped off, as I had to negotiate harder each time.This couldn't be further from the case at WNC Coins. Both Terry and Michael are honest and thoughtful. I called once and was quoted over spot, but it wasn't what they had offered me initially, so Terry said to me, "Call back. It goes up and down." The kind of care for the client and expertise found at WNC Coins is unparalleled both locally and regionally.I highly recommend WNC Coins. Got well above spot both times I sold to them!

Based on all the great reviews, I drove directly here as soon as my flight from Houston landed. As expected, Great Friendly Service and they gave full attention and answered all my questions. Picked up a couple Rand’s for the stack, had some good ole brief chit chat about cities and unique coins. Keep Up the Great Service. If I’m ever back visiting Asheville I’ll definitely drop back by.
