I came into WINK for a trim and blowout. Jacklynn was fantastic! Her professionalism and personable demeanor made me feel confident of her abilities, before the first "snip ." In addition, Jacklynn showed exceptional attention to detail as well.

Lyssa was so great with my 8 year old daughter. Patient, empowering to my child's autonomy and decisions, and engaged her in the process of the hair cut. For there to be no complaints coming from the kiddo during hair brushing is a huge feat, and Lyssa nailed it! Lyssa made for a great 'first time at a fancy salon' experience for my curly haired kiddo who walked out of there two inches taller, just loving her new bangs and cut

I had a fantastic experience with Lyssa. She's not only a skilled stylist but she knows how to cut and color curly/ wavy hair. She was so friendly and knowledgeable on products, I truly enjoyed my experience and couldn't be happier with the blonde highlights she created. I live in an county adjacent to Buncombe and I’ve had an extraordinarily difficult time finding a stylist who could cut my hair well outside of Asheville. My hair is very straight and fine fine and I have world class cowlicks so my stylist has to be able to navigate those challenges. I’ve been through literally eight stylists in the last ten years. Finally I decided to try Wink Salon and Emily was suggested to me. I’m always a little nervous with someone new, because I was starting to assume no one could do it! But Emily does a great job cutting my hair. I’ve been to her three times now and I really love the cuts. They’re clean, easy to manage and they allow me not to fight with (or hate) my hair. I just love her and will keep going back. Thank you, Emily!

Wink is such a great salon. The vibe is upbeat, the decor is sweet, but most importantly, the people there are the best. Valerie is simply one of the most skilled and talented hairstylists I’ve ever had. She’s able to listen to what you want and tailor it perfectly for your face and your lifestyle. She focuses on you, and spends time getting to know you and your hair journey. For me, she creates a Cheerwine shag that absolutely rocks! Each time I leave the salon, I look amazing AND I’m confident I can approximate the look at home, which is a real value. Thank you, Wink!

The best salon experience of my life. Every stylist is well trained, not allowed to work on their own until they meet Wink standards. I have curly hair, and because my stylist, Jay, knows how to cut and care for curly hair, my hair has never looked better.

I go to Daniela and she always does an amazing job. She taught me how to do my hair extensions and she dyes my hair blonde every time. She gives the best hair cuts too. Daniela is super chill and calming to be around. I have been going to this salon ever since I turned 20 and I'm 28 now. She also gives me advice on how to keep my hair healthy and everything always works. I'm just very grateful for this place and especially her. Prices are really great too.

This last time I could not get in with my regular stylist and had two new people. I like them both very much. Myah and Kristin I believe are the correct names. As it worked out one cut my hair and then a bit later one did the color. They were both graduates of the WINK training program and they both did an excellent job. Why I like WINK. Wink is a women owned business and as we know women make the strongest leaders. When you walk in the door every one says hello and knows your name. Drinks and snacks are offered if you need to wait. Training is another big component of WINK I like. They are constantly educationist their staff to the newest trends and they bring in newly graduated hairdressers and enter them in the Wink training program before they are on the main floor as hairdressers. They offer a reduced fee if you want to try one of the hairdressers in training which are always monitored closely. That's a lot of reasons, but they are all important to a classy, well run Salon.
Stylist: I usually see Jordan, but every once in awhile I get out of sequence with our appointments or have to change them due to unforeseen circumstances. Two times lately that has happened and I have had the pleasure of having Mya to cut my hair. She is so friendly and easy to be with. I remember her starting as an apprentice and now she is on the floor and doing so well. She does an excellent job and is moving up the ladder quickly. I think she is one of the stars of the education programs at Wink. Wink has a unique program of bringing in graduates of cosmetology as apprentice and have a step program to getting to full time. Well done Mya and Wink! Betsy
