I wished for more from Wells Fargo after my Wachovia account transferred over to them. I'm sure there are great people at the local branch, but the bank's national management needs to improve how they do business. I chose to switch banks based on Wells Fargos' national behavior with regards to foreclosures on families' homes following the 2008 financial crash. A local non-profit I work with recently tried to refinance with Wells Fargo, having always paid their mortgage on time, and the representative bluntly said "How would that benefit us?" Wells Fargo could do much better by returning to an older way of caring, and taking responsibility for doing business in a way that reflects wisdom and a greater regard for people and communities. I have been much happier with my banking since moving my money to a local credit union.

Some of the people who work here I adore. But I've had some major issues with them not being able to handle more complicated issues. This wouldn't be so bad if they just didn't offer the services but screwing up wires is just not good practice. I would go to a local bank, but I have some good connections here.

So, I'm biased............I mean I work for them.*grin* But this bank has a lot of history with my family in the sense my Grandmother banked here...at this particular branch for decades. It hasn't changed in a long time, both in look and folks......the look, not to sexy....very 70s, but the people have always been a big help and very nice. Free parking below, but only for bank business, so don't be naughty *wink*
