Chris was what a banker should be. He basically listened to what
I was seeking to accomplish and was clear and calm about the required procedure. He was not irritated to be asked to do his job - which is to explain processes about a person's money. I needed to WIRE in a large amount from a SWISS insurance company. There is no Wells form for this. The instructions are all online for the Wells client to figure out. I just wanted confirmation I had
interpreted correctly in the WORD doc I produced, before I sent
off the Swift code, etc. (The funds had been rejected once already b/c of routing misinformation I had received at another Wells bank).
In my dealings with Weaverville Wells Fargo, the officer was irritated and curt, as if, how could I possibly think to use the bank's routing # as part of the process, etc. Because it seems logical? 1)San Fran Main Wells to 2)NC Wells to 3)Indv. Acct.
No. It's 1)San Fran Wells to 3)Indv Acct. That can be said politely and clearly. It's not an emotional matter. Nothing to be irritated with a customer about - who's trying to type up their OWN form to bring a large amount of money to Wells to use. The officer should be thankful for the money.
I know what the 1 star reviews are talking about. Training ONLY creates employees who CAN'T 'explain' anything. They just know rules, but get irritated to explain anything. That kind of attitude wants the money, but not the client. Clients are too much trouble to be courteous or helpful to. Chris isn't like that. He's good.

I have been with Wells Fargo before it was Wells Fargo. I was in the branch yesterday and saw platinum savings accts are getting 4.60 interest with new money” of 10,000 daily average balance. I called to ask why I haven’t been getting that on my +10k balance for years. Only new customers or new money was applicable. So new clients get a 4.60 rate when loyal customers get the lowest ever! Closing accounts! I was offered to speak to a banker next Monday, after the deal expires ?

I’ve been dealing with a lot of banks recently working through the probate process and most have not been pleasant. I recently worked with Chris at this branch and he was super helpful, friendly, and went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. I initially had an appointment at the WF down the road (didn’t realize there was another location on this road) and regardless he dropped everything he was doing and got me in and out.

Went here to open a joint account with my fiancé, Johnathan Vogel “attempted” to help us. I could tell by his demeanor he was not interested in us becoming clients, probably due to our skin color and dress attire. He asked my fiancé why she wouldn’t continue banking at the bank she works for which is none of his business. He than made things extremely complicated in explaining how we could prove our addresses when we just moved here from New Jersey. We will be taking our business to another bank.

Maria, at the drive up, went above and beyond for me. If all WF employees were as kind and helpful as Maria, then WF could have a great turnaround!

Mr Chris Cauffey , banker, was so kind and helpful. By mistake I had a problem with a misplaced debit card. Even though this is not my official branch, Chris went through trouble to correct the situation. It’s people like Chris who make all the difference in service.

I have been a WF customer for ~20 years, and have a sizable investment with WF. I rely on professional partnership of all the staff due to VA and Probate requirements on my banking investments. Today I placed a call into this branch, which is the branch closest to my residence, and all I can say is the person who answered the phone was absolutely rude, uninformative, uncooperative, completely lacking in customer care. I wish it was possible to give negative stars, but one is the least allowed. I have since moved on to another branch who is being very cooperative, helpful, and professional.

Honestly one of the slowest bank I ever been to. I figured I go through the drive through to deposit my check and still get to work on time but nope. The workers at the window aren't doing anything and the cars that are in front of me haven't move in like 10 mins. They should really speed up their pace.

Anytime I have any questions, they are right there to help answer. Now that I've move to New England, and I have a question, they direct me to where I can get more help. Thanks Jessica!

My Son passed away and I had to go close his account and I was treated so nonchalantly, and they kept referring to him, not by name or kindly, but as the account holder. I had to go several times, for statements and it was awful.
