Wells Fargo is the first Bank ever. I wouldn't trust my money with them. One day there is one amount in your checking account the next day there's a different amount and nothing has been done to cause it to be different.

One should avoid the patton ave branch whenever possible. They are VERY difficult to deal with and mismanaged. Even worse than the other branches!

This is only about the patton ave. west asheville branch. I tried to open a business account and the banker told me my business was fraudulent because I was using a UPS mailbox address! Unbelievable and incredibly offensive. I will go somewhere else.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Wells Fargo Corporate red tape is why i would not recommend Wells Fargo to ANYONE. I was filing a fraud claim because someone entered a Wells Fargo location with my debit card information on a google pay device. They also managed to get my pin from somewhere. The thief used the pay device and my pin to withdraw 1500 dollars and get a bankers check for 1300. All without needing to show ID. I sat with the branch manager for 4 hours as we were forced to submit 3 separate fraud claims (she was very helpful and kind.) The fraud departments within wells fargo are separate, hence why we had to submit 3 claims. I asked if i would get provisional credit to have the money back in my account while they reviewed the case. I was told that they would call me. It has been 4 days, and i have not yet received a call. 4 days is a long time to go without 2800 dollars. The process of claims processing is said to take 10 business days according to Wells Fargo. So wells fargo policy has failed to protect my account from being accessed by people who are not me, and then it failed me by not returning any sense of the money that was stolen in a speedy way. The people making the rules must be millionaires, but for the rest of us 2800 dollars is a lot of money.EDIT: They denied my claim against the 1300 dollar check. Their company policies will see you robbed.

The staff at this Wells Fargo offered timely and courteous service. Scott was especially helpful and professional. I had a good experience at this branch!

Closes at noon on Saturday, why even open at all? Useless. Went next door to Bank of America who was glad to open my account instead and stays open until 2pm. Much more intelligently managed.

The staff have been nothing but helpful every time I've gone in (for personal and small business needs). They've explained confusing aspects of banking to me and been kind even when it's busy. Definitely a busier branch so can take some time, but making an appointment can help with that!

management has been great in past, but severely understaffed here for amount of volume they do at this branch.

If zero stars was an option I’d give them 0 stars. They stand around while you stand in line. Never greet you not even a simple someone will be right with you. I do not bank with them but I come often for job reasons and every time I do it’s the same situation. I honestly have no idea why anyone would bank here.

If I could give them negative stars I would. There’s not enough white space for my complaint and their customer service is the absolute worst in the banking industry.

Don't particularly like this bank. Inconvenient locations in Asheville NC, have made numerous mistakes on my rental checks deposited to my management account causing account fees, which were reversed, but in their own sweet time. I'm slowly moving all my accounts to different banks, slowly only because this bank forces me to leave the accounts I'm moving open for an additional month to make sure no more work comes in, even though I stop all actively. Oh yes, let me mention that I get charged a fee for the extra month.
