I will drive the extra distance to ckme to this location, or the one on airport road to avoid the bleachery blvd location. That said, this is the Walmart I go to do grocery shopping. It isn't very crowded, the store is always in order, and the workers are friendly and helpful. This Walmart also tends to have better items in their clearance section than the other Walmarts in the area. For instance, I managed to get a heater I had been looking to purchase that retailed over one hundred U.S. dollars. I got it for a about a quarter of that due to clearance. It was an amazing deal on something I was already prepared to spend much more on. Note, this was a lucky coincidence and it doesn't happen often. So please don't expect that everytime you come to this or any other location.
Other than that, this location is a little smaller than the others, so they don't always have a lot of choices on what you're looking for, so it's best to stick to basic necessities and foods while shopping here.

My friends came here to visit we all stayed at this cabin we loved it. Great place and atmosphere. I would suggest trimming the trees and bushes and more porch lights. Cabin was very nice and clean. Hot tub was cool the first night but the 2nd time we used it was awesome. Very quit place and not in town it's off 64 going towards Chimney Rock.

Walmart is a necessity and never a great trip but this time it wasn't so bad. I've found it's best to go early morning to miss the crowds and traffic.

Worst functioning store I’ve ever seen. Nobody working at customer service on a Saturday, nobody in any of the departments available to help. It was nearly impossible to see a single employee walking around. I waited for 25 minutes for someone to come unlock the glass case to buy a literal nine dollar Bottle of face lotion. Ridiculous!

Came here to cash a money order since that's a service they provide and Mary at the service desk money center didn't even try instead she said the money order has to be at least 10 days old. They cashed it in Hendersonville that day. Can someone please inform Mary to know what she is talking about before she just tells things off the top of her head. I believe after a money order is over 10 days old they can't refund.

Most grocery items have lowest price compared to other stores. Just make sure you double check bag carousel for your groceries, the cashiers don't always do it....Update....the lack of personal, no cashiers and much higher prices have made Walmart a VERY inconvenient place to shop for grocery items.
Patronize your local store and enjoy the cashiers and baggers, much more of a pleasant experience.....?????Update...still only one or two cashiers that ring you up out of 20 check out aisles, the other open ones are self checkouts and self bagging, again, not much difference in prices from my closer, local supermarket. The only reason I shop there, my insurance gives me a card that can be used for food, toiletries and pet supplies, but only good at Walmart.

Walmart's a good place to shop except for some of the meat cuts I would stay away from that. And there's usually long lines trying to check out.

I have contacted Walmart twice via AI chat to find out if they stopped carrying Homemaker orange juice. Been a month since I've seen it. AI just says check back to see if has been resupplied.
