Lazy people. I ordered an item I know they have because I've seen it up at the top shelf on a pallet for over a week. Instead of getting said item, they just replaced it with something they thought was similar (it was completely different). Can't get anyone in-store to get it for me so I tried online ordering and they just took the easiest, laziest way out. Would give you 0 stars if I could. Lazy, lazy, lazy.

I am confused about their parking policies. Large charter busses full of rowdy teens or college students can come and park while the passengers, ie: rowdy as heck young folks, come in and terrorize the aisles of the store. For an example one group of I believe soccer players were in the store having a football match throwing a ball around knocking into customers. That is okay, but your family is not allowed to stop here in your RV to load up on supplies before settling into your destination. Asheville is a destination city, people flock here in there RV's to stay here and surrounding areas. I've never seen a Walmart refuse RV's from coming and shopping. Vagrants eating food in the aisles and leaving their trash on the ground okay, families on vacation not okay. Crazy!!

Stopped in our motorhome to restock and before we could go in the store we were invited to leave by security. Security said if we stayed for any length of time we would be towed. What a welcome to shop!

My family was hounded by the Jack booted thugs who claim to be the law of the land at the Asheville Walmart. I was not “sleeping in it” my Prevost Bus was parked for 2 hours while we shopped for delicious patriotic cookies and a gallon of goldfish. We will never darken your door again. Thanks Mitchell Petty.

You know, it’s a big Walmart. Great prices, not enough inventory/selection compared to Amazon, but better than any other brick and mortar store in Asheville.

I've had some good, iffy and bad experiences with walmart. I'm over walmart now and do not plan on ever shopping there in person or online again.
Today I go in with the intention of purchasing a new laptop. Least to say I didn't end up getting one, I went elsewhere for it. I found 2 that would handle what I need them to be able to do. I asked for the first one and the guy went looking for it. He came up empty handed. I was disappointed and told him it was poor practice that walmart makes them leave up models that they don't have in stock. I tell him I'll take my second choice because it's the only other one there with what I need. He walks away, mutters something to another employee and just keeps walking. I'm sorry that he doesn't like his job or maybe he hates customers who will mention poor business practices but he definitely should not be working in customer service.
The employee he muttered to comes over and tells me he guesses he's helping me now. I told him exactly what I told his fellow employee and he agreed with me! He said they should at least have them put signs up on the ones that are out of stock! As it turns out, they didn't have the other laptop either. The second employee is good and I wish he worked for a better company because he deserves to work somewhere that actually cares about their customers.
I've spent a lot of money at walmart over the years, but I won't be spending any more there. Today was the last poor experience they were going to make this customer deal with.

Entering into this walmart is like entering the 3rd world. After you hopefully find what you need, because there are no employees in sight, you get to go wait in a massive line, so that you can become an unpayed walmart employee and run your own register while simultaneously being stared down like you are about to commit a crime.
Dangerous and inconvenient do not recommend ..

This Walmart has a pretty good selection in comparison to some. Everything is easy enough to find && they manage to keep it all stocked regardless of whatever this world throws at us (covid, whatever) prices, like everywhere else, is increasing but Walmart is still my go to for groceries
