I had a great experience here! Chris resized my engagement ring and was very knowledgeable and helpful. He had the job done extremely quickly and did perfect work. Also- his jewelry is beautiful! I will definitely go back here for all my jewelry needs

Chris is amazing. I met him in the process of visiting most of the local jewelers looking for someone to resize my grandmother's engagement ring for me. He was friendly and professional, and kindly talked me through options for resizing while offering his recommendation on what would be most long lasting. Once I decided to have him do the work he was incredibly quick!!My partner and I, then asked him to also make her engagement ring. We had a pretty small budget and throughout the process he remained a wonderful communicator. He reserved his opinion when it was a matter of preferences and aesthetics so that she could decide what she liked, but was quick to give us more information when a decision would impact durability or our budget.As a queer couple, there is often a question as you begin to interact with a new person of how they may respond to you and your partner. I never felt a moment of discomfort with Chris. In fact, it's really hard to put into words how wonderful it felt to work with him. He's incredibly kind, warm, and considerate. I am so grateful that we got to work with him, and especially that he was part of creating this important symbol for my partner and I.

I was from out of town and I had an emergency to cut my ring I had off my finger. I found out about Chris and he was able to help me. He even stayed a little later than closing time. He was very nice and very knowledgeable. Very thankful we found him!

I was referred to Chris by a downtown jewelry shop. I was a bit concerned because I was gifted a beautiful Diamond ring and had no idea of it’s value. I had a necklace to be made into a bracelet and a beloved pearl bracelet which needed to be restrung. Chris spent the time with me to really educate me about what he could do, what could go wrong when sizing the ring, etc. I got my jewels back today and they are PERFECT!!! The price was HALF of what I expected to pay. In conclusion, best jeweler I’ve ever met! Thank you, Chris, for an AMAZING experience!!!

I've known Chris and his dad Terry since about 1995. His dad made a ring for me after cancer took the love of my life, and over the years it has changed with the changes in my life. Some good, some not so much. The constant was the ring. Like everything they create, it is a unique piece. NO one will ever have one even close. It is mine, and .... it is me.I am in the final chapter of my life, and I needed my old friend to make that transition with me. I tracked Chris down, we talked, and I sent the ring. If you don't read any further into this review, let those words be your take away from the exceptional experience I had working with Chris Van Dyke.After 31 years, the setting of our engagement ring was no longer viable. I had already begun making inquiries with area artists, when one of them recommended Chris Van Dyke. I will always be grateful for that recommendation. The combination wedding band/engagement ring Chris made for us is exactly what I had hoped for. The ring is stunning. It fits perfectly with the most wonderful combination of weight and balance. It was hard to contemplate leaving our diamond with a stranger. However, the moment you meet Chris, you realize you're in the company of a truly fine person. Use him. Trust him. He's the best.

I am very happy with my experience with Christopher Van Dyke! He helped to reinvigorate two heirloom rings that were gifted to me. He immediately responded to my questions on email, invited me in for a consultation, helped me to think of ideas on how to change up the rings, and then did beautiful work. I cherish the jewelry he created - one ring made into a modern and sparkly ring, and one ring made into a beautiful pendant that I can wear close to my heart. He listened to what I requested, did quality work, and charged reasonable prices. I highly recommend him and would go back if I ever needed more jewelry.

Chris is absolutely amazing! He resized an engagement ring and 2 wedding bands in only 2 days. The engagement ring was cut and he even gave me the little piece that was removed. The bands he compressed per request. All 3 are perfect!! He is very kind and knowledgeable, he answered all my questions and helped me relax and feel completely comfortable leaving the rings. He even offered cleaning and any additional sizing for free.

He is very kind and easy to work with, sending digital renderings by email during the design process.
