In addition to buying things for my 1 yr old nephew, I bought a couple of things for myself, including a really beautiful jigsaw puzzle and an adorable plush mushroom that will live on my desk at work. So glad we popped in here for a visit.”
“I found Just Ducky on the interweb after hours of searching for a tractor themed parasol/umbrella. Every year we attend The Log Cabin Tractor Show in Hastings, Minnesota and I am always the strange girl with an umbrella ( there's no shade ANYWHERE) and over the years it's been fun finding new cute funny parasols so show off my whimsical side ( hahaha) and it's funny each year I see more and more ladies catching on... makes a world of difference ( the ladies of old certainly did know what they were doing), so I went on the hunt for a tractor umbrella. Well, Google was not very helpful UNTIL...Until Just Ducky popped up! I contacted Ms. Mindy after placing my order to ask about expedited shipping ( I'm cutting it close this year). She was away from the store when I first contacted her. she said she'd get back to me the next day, and BAM, she did exactly that. Never once did I have to wonder if she'd get back to be or "maybe she forgot"... which seems to be a trend nowadays. Not here, though. Helpful, responsive, and overall a pleasure to deal with. “I’ve been going to BAB for most of my life and came here with a bear I had ordered unstuffed online for my thirtieth birthday. I’m always nervous I might look too old for the BAB experience but Ko at the stuffing station didn’t bat an eye! They were so sweet and did the heart/wish ceremony with me and we chatted a little bit, too. I live closer to a BAB in Johnson City but after how nice and welcoming they were to me and the other kiddos that were there getting their bears stuffed, I might have to make the trip to Asheville’s store from now on!
The kids that went ahead of me got to make some special memories and Ko was a pro at helping them calm down from a tearful episode and making their experience better. They also had an amazing selection of outfits and accessories to choose from. I felt like a kid again and very very silly, which was exactly how I need to feel before my big 3-0.
