Home Away From Home! Our 4 night stay with our 2 furry kids was wonderful! The hotel is very clean, new and modern and we loved the kitchenette. The bed and bedding was super comfortable. Daily breakfast was good with options, even Oat Milk.Hot Cocoa and fresh baked cookies in the afternoon was an awesome treat! All the front desk folks and breakfast attendant were very friendly and helpful! All that Asheville has to offer is just a short drive! We had a long range mountain view!

Great location very central to a lot of attractions in Ashville. They are a pet friendly hotel so we were able to bring our small dog with us which was a fun experience to be able to include her in some of the things we did. They have a station available to pick up pet waste if you did not bring bags. Rooms were good sized with very comfortable beds. The showers were different and a bit weird by having glass for half the way across it and then being open with no door or sliding glass. It made the floor wet a few times but we just used towels to dry it up. They have a heated indoor pool that I did not get to test but looked a good size and nice. The gym is smaller but it can be worked with and is better than some hotels with closet sized gyms or no gym at all. One of the only complaints I have is it is closer to the road and you can hear the road noise however our room had a white noise generator to help eliminate the noise which was a smart move on the hotels behalf since the proximity to the road is just what it is.

We had been in our room for a while when I sat on the bed and it was soaking wet. We received keys to a different room and scrambled to move while getting ready for a dinner reservation made several months ago. I contacted Marriott customer service and received half off the room rate. Just a new PDF bill....no apology, no explanation.Rooms: In addition to the wet bed, the bathroom floor was dirty.

My mom & I stayed at The TownPlace Suites by Marriott Asheville West on Sept 27th through Sept 29th & left on the 30th. This was an absolute fabulous stay. The staff were very friendly & very attentive. The complimentary breakfast was extremely good & the fact that there was 24/7 coffee or hot tea in the lobby was an absolute delight! Erica, your day person at the front desk was extremely friendly, very responsive & helped us with anything we needed. I have a 28 yr old quadraplegic daughter that lives on a ventilator, to see ALL of the handicap accessories & amenities was such an amazing sight. It is only about 10 minutes away from downtown Asheville so we visited downtown a couple times while we were there. It's location is only 5 minutes away from The Farmers Market, i suggest you go to, it was so great! The beds slept well, there was coffee available in our room, dishwasher, disposal, ice maker (was actually broken but they had ice machines next to the elevators) in the freezer and many kitchen appliances at our disposal. We were on the 4th floor so it was very peaceful, I spent each morning sitting outside enjoying there fire pit out front of the suites. The bathroom exhaust fan sid not work but nothing major.I will MOST DEFINITELY stay at this location again when we come back to Asheville & look for these suites next time we travel anywhere. A wonderful 4 star hotel with a very affordable budget. Thank you & your staff Marriott for impressing & meeting all of our needs! Keep up the good work!Rooms: Clean & very comfortableNearby activities: 10 minutes from downtown & 5 minutes from the farmers market.Noteworthy details: Extremely handicap accessible!

This hotel is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Front desk staff is worthless and each one feels they can treat guests anyway they feel. This is most obviously caused by the far below sub par management who are the most miserable people I have ever met with a superiority complex and attitude of entitlement of A list celebrities. The only one here that I can say fits the marriot model and was wonderful was head of housekeeping, Felicia. If I were you and didn’t feel like begging for towels, having to vacuum your own room, clean the kitchen floor on your hands and knees all after spending over $10,000 at marriot in the last 3 months then stay faaaaarrr away from this dump.

We stayed here as a group, me being who checked in all of our group members, got access to the meeting space, and saw to any individualized specifications. The most noteworthy thing, which they have many, but their service is by far is what made our experience so great. The whole staff went above and beyond to help fill any need and answer any questions we had. They truly made our experience exceptional!!Rooms: The whole hotel is up to date and beautiful.Noteworthy details: We stayed here as a group, me being who checked in all of our group members, got access to the meeting space, and saw to any individualized specifications. The most noteworthy thing, which they have many, but their service is by far is what made our experience so great. The whole staff went above and beyond to help fill any need and answer any questions we had. Can’t accommodate a late checkout for marriot bonvoy members, front desk also doesn’t ask for any id for getting new room keys, they ask your room number when remaking keys in front of other people (safety issue)

Overall a great hotel. My room was on the non-highway side, therefore, was dead quiet. I liked being outside of the chaos of the city, but still have easy access to the highways. Super clean, friendly staff. My only issue, which wasn't a deal breaker, was the breakfast. Not a lot of selection, and they aren't really into the breakfast meats, if that's your thing. Standard waffle maker and many other carb options. Scrambled eggs only on my first morning. It sufficed though. If I'm ever back in Asheville, would definitely stay again!

This hotel was great. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean. This is a pet friendly hotel and they didn't disappoint. As soon as we walked in the door with our pups, the staff, as well as other guests, welcomed them with open arms.

The noise was terrible from the highway. We had a white noise machine in the room but that was not helpful for us. When we asked for a quieter room, they said they were all noisy and gave us 2 pair of earplugs. We had a king/efficiency room which was quite cramped. Several dishes & pots were still dirty. We had to request dish soap and more towels as only one bath towel was provided. We had to ask for tissues as the container was empty. The drawers in the kitchen mis-aligned and would not close. The breakfast was so-so as compared to other places with free breakfast. This was not the best experience, especially when the Marriott name is attached. Shame on you Marriott.Nearby activities: Botanical Gardens nearby was fabulous. Farmers market was fun to browse.

Everything right: I was a guest of the TownePlace Suites Asheville West in May 2023. These experience was excellent in all respects. The room was perfect, the breakfast was good, and the entire property was clean. Katelin and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. I'll return to this property on my next trip to Asheville. Thank you TownePlace Suites West!!!

Overall a good place to stay. Nice parking lot with free parking.Daily breakfast was different daily and was good. They had a waffle maker, oatmeal, cereal, hot foods, bakery items, yogurts, fruits and a juice dispenser. The gym is nice and has a water dispenser and a nice pool but we didn't get to use it.Rooms were nice but I think room service needs to be requested because we didn't receive one our whole stay even though we opted for them.

Nice property, but when you find the previous person's clothes under your sheets, it clearly shows that they are not washing them between every use. It's absolutely disgusting. Clean sheets should be the bare minimum someone should expect from a hotel, and this place couldn't even deliver on that. A rule of thumb, if you don't see the fold creases still in the sheets, then you're probably not the first person to sleep on them.
