“Brought my truck in so they could look at the brakes. Right front rotor was badly scored with a lot of brake dust on the wheel. Left front rotor was fairly smooth, not a lot of dust. No noise or pulling to one side. They found a stuck caliper on the right side and all the pads were worn pretty close to minimum thickness. In on Wednesday, picked up on Thursday. Excellent service.”
“Swan’s Tire turned a very stressful day into an easy, affordable fix! My tire was completely flat and they were happy to check their inventory to make sure they had the right size when I called - something I’ve gotten attitude over or refusal to do in the past, if I could even get someone on the phone. The man up front was very polite and told me wait time and cost up front! I enjoyed fresh coffee while I waited and will definitely be coming back here for future tire needs :) it was affordable and quick! As a woman, I often have anxiety around how I will be treated/charged when it comes to vehicle maintenance and repair, so I really appreciate my experience here.”

“While Traveling back home to Garner (outside Raleigh)from Bryson City our battery light came on. I Immediately called my mechanic who told me to find an autozone and have the alternator tested. We got to the Auto zone and it was a bad Alternator our Mechanic advised us that we needed to replace it immediately and to find a local shop. So I asked for a referral from autozone, And they recommended mountain view. Which was right down the street walking distance as my van was acting Possessed and lost complete power as we coasted in the parking lot in front of a bay. The fit us in timely and Wayne even drove to the honda dealership as I only wanted to use honda parts. You can imagine how stressed I was about this whole situation and the unexpected cost I had not plan on spending. But Mountain view was professional and Courteous to me in a very stressful situation. They were done in about 3 hours or less we actually got an uber to go explore the outlets to take our mind off of it while they were working on it. But I want to thank Mountain view for saving our day and getting us home safely. I don't think I said thank you but THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for saving the day! I highly recommend this shop.”

“Overall I've had good experiences here. The only thing that I haven't liked is that they don't change just brake pads, they said they only replace entire brake assemblies. I abided their policy and went for the assembly replacement which cost a lot of money. My fault for not getting a quote before agreeing, but I ended up spending a lot of unnecessary money”

“Picked up a screw in my tire on vacation on a Saturday evening about 6:15 pm , stopped at AutoZone for a recommendation , I was given Diaz tire , I calked and they were closing at 6:30 but offered to stay open to repair my tire !! Awesome service , fair price. Diaz Tire was truly a blessing!!”
“10/10 would recommend for mechanical issues. We were leaving to head back home (300+ miles away) when we noticed our car was pouring oil. Our insurance company called us a tow driver (Red from Asheville Wrecking also 10/10!) and dropped us here. It was Memorial Day so we were sure they wouldn't get around to even being able to look at it that day. But they did and they even got it fixed and us back on the road that evening! Also it being a holiday, getting an Uber was impossible so they sent their shuttle driver to pick us and he was such a nice man too! Especially since we were his last pickup of the day and he chose to stay later to do it. Judy was amazing and we're so thankful to her and the whole staff! Mechanic work is never cheap but considering it was a holiday and they got it out within 4 or 5 hours, I'd say it was exceptionally priced!”

“This business is local. 3 generations!!!! The service was fairly quick. I did have to leave my car with them for some hours, BUT I called the day I needed service, they SQUEEZED ME INTO an already busy day. Took GREAT care of my vehicle. Did NOT try to overcharge me for anything. I WILL be returning to them. It is RARE these days to find trustworthy places to take your vehicle and I would say YES this is a trustworthy place.. Had an issue on two separate occasions getting tires put on at Walmart because lug nuts were "too tight" ... these guys had me in and out in less than 30 min, and they were very reasonably priced. Also super friendly and helpful. Super satisfied with my experience. Highly recommend.”

They had me in and out in 20 minutes. New wheels and an oil change that was on par with any other shop if you came loaded to the brim with coupon codes… but I didn’t I just called them and it was easy :) paid exactly what we talked about on the phone. Thanks guy.”

“Honest and fair. Lets you buy your own parts. I save a lot buying on eBay and Amazon. Chuck the mechanic is a genius and they have team members who expertly focus on suspension. The dealer wanted up to $6,000 to get my car working properly but Chuck recommended a $25.00 part from Amazon. He installed it for $30 and problem was solved. For brakes and rotors stick with O'Reilly. The rotors I bought from another popular auto parts store were warped from the get-go and caused shuddering when I applied the brakes on the highway. The distributor can bring over whatever kind of tires you want just like the big chains. Most services are done while you wait. The regular tire store said my flat could not be repaired but it was taken care of in 15 minutes for $10 at Carlos tire shop. I buy a premium oil and filter at Walmart and they change my oil here for $20. I recently learned that buying ethanol free gas keeps your O2 sensors and catalytic converter working. This can save you a lot of money.”
