Quick trip. Found a great deal on the Hotel Tonight App. Probably would avoid otherwise but it’s an awesome place. Even with kids. We took them out to dinner and on a walk around downtown, including a trip to French Broad Chocolate for dessert, then hung out playing free arcade games downstairs at the draftsman. The rooms are extremely nice. I recommend this place.

I haven't stayed here, but I absolutely love this building and what they've done with the space. Food and bar are both great to stop into.

Very nice room! Nice touches in decor. Complimentary breakfast delivered to your door. My only complaint would be how thin my walls were. I could hear my neighbor who was up all night until 6am, partying. Which I was also not expecting that type of “crowd” up late at this sort of hotel - so that was a let down.

Without a doubt, one of the, or maybe even THE best hotel I have ever been in. The service is amazing and very friendly, and you can tell right when you arrive that it’s going to be worth it. The valet and the service desk attendants are world class, and it’s brand new and worth every penny. They have a bowling alley and arcade, downstairs on the weekends. It’s right in downtown and a min walk to the music hall venue and other restaurants and bars. I hardly ever leave a review, but this place is standout and HIGHLY suggested.Rooms: The rooms are super clean and a comfy vibe. We were in the 5h floor and had a view of downtown and the mountains. They have complimentary robes and slippers, and a fridge with water and sodas for you. It’s swankNearby activities: Parks, shops, art, bars, restaurants, at least one music venue but maybe more. A very relaxed feeling in the area.Safety: You need you key to even get in the front door, and then the elevator and of course your room. Staff is around 24/7. The whole area is very chill and safe.Walkability: It’s literally in the middle of downtown and very close to a number of stores, restaurants, and a good music venue.Food & drinks: The gave us wine when we arrived, and we knew it was going to be a good time.

This was our first time at The Restoration, but will certainly not be the last! The hotel itself is gorgeous, as are the rooms. Spacious, beautifully appointed, and well-fitted with everything we would need. The location cannot be better - it is in the heart of Asheville Downtown and you can walk to pretty much everything you might want to do. But more than anything, the staff is excellent. We had some minor issues in the AC system and everyone was super gracious about moving us to a room that was perfect. The true mark of any business is it's ability to respond to an issue, no matter how big or small. The Restoration gets full credit for it's ability to do so!

Absolutely wonderful experience! The little touches like a breakfast picnic basket at your door in the morning make this place a perfect spot to relax in. I used to live in Asheville and watched this hotel being built and now it’s great to see what it has become. Rooms are spacious, bed was very comfortable. I also felt very safe in this hotel as a solo female traveler. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Asheville.

Greeted by the most friendliest valet drivers ever!!! Unfortunately I broke my foot the day before and had a hard time getting out of the car. They were so helpful with assisting me getting out of the car and very patient. They helped with all the bags and got us to the check in desk.Cole and the Young Lady at the check-in desk were so welcoming and helpful upon arrival. Cole informed us of the property amenities, which are quite impressive. Cole provided us with a quick tour for the 1st floor (restaurant/bar/library) and information about the rooftop bar and basement bar/lounge.Beautiful!!!!!Once walking into the room me and my husband were blown away with the esthetic of the room AND the space! There were complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridge, another great addition to the room. The snacks available for purchase on top of countertop were also delicious and had plenty of options for sweet/salty/healthy options. There were handcrafted cocktails on the bar cart available for purchase and reasonably priced! Amazing! The hotel is located in a Great central location within proximity to everything. We walked around and enjoyed downtown Asheville. They offer complimentary rides around the city within a 2 mile radius. Another added bonus! We were celebrating my husbands birthday so the young lady at the check in desk provided great recommendations for some local restaurants. When coming back to the room there were was a special treat for my husband that said happy birthday! They really think about the small things.Upon returning in the evening the night was far from over. We headed to the rooftop bar to enjoy a cocktail and the ambience! Both were amazing! Now time for the fun!Headed downstairs to the basement lounge!!!!When I say the DJ was on point!!!!! He was on point!!!!! We listened to some Atlanta hip hop/rap music and had some amazing drinks!!!!There was a pool table, which we played and danced! LolThey have a bowling alley, which we played, and danced! Great music! There were games to play like Giant Jenga, connect 4, arcade games! It was like Chuckie Cheese for adults!!! With alcohol!!!! Could not have asked for more.Had a bite to eat before heading back upstairs after a late night of fun of games and drinking, which I can say the drinks were also on point!Awaking up in the morning was so peaceful! Sounds of jazz from the local street musicians could be heard if you got close to windows. I believe some of the rooms have a terrace, we will be booking that room next time!In the morning there was a basket with the best chocolate croissants I have ever had! There were more options in the basket that arrived in front of the door but I was too busy scarfing down the croissants lol. Please stay at this location when staying in Asheville they really thought of every single detail! I have stayed at 5 star hotels and this is definitely were they belong!I look forward to coming back with a group of friends!!!Rooms: Beautiful and spacious!Nearby activities: You really don’t even need to leave the hotel for anything honestly! This hotel has 3 bars/3 restaurants. You can play pool downstairs in the lounge, play a game of bowling, or play some arcade games all on-site! The DJ was phenomenal! Also you can have a quick bite to eat before heading back to your room. The lounge downstairs stayed open pretty late.Safety: I felt very safe in the city! Everyone was friendly and there was a police presence. Located around the city.Walkability: Walked the whole downtown area.Food & drinks: Drinks were amazing!Noteworthy details: I have asthma and did not know this was a pet friendly hotel. It was so clean and not a trace of pet dander! As matter of fact I was having so much fun I forgot to take my inhaler when checking out in the morning! So yes very clean!

Oh my gosh! I decided to splurge and stay here for night because it was convenient to convention center. I am currently up at 5:30 am listening to someone snoring in the room next door. The walls are paper thin. I did not go to sleep until midnight because I could hear everything they were saying and doing. They banged around for several hours. I put a sound machine on my phone and tried to cover up the sound. However I could still hear it! I am very disappointed in this, as I should not be able to hear someone snoring in the room next door. I actually was so impressed with the building itself that I called last night around 7 to book another night. I am cancelling that. I got hardly any sleep for a 3 hour drive down here, we got here at 6 on a Friday. If you stay here, just hope and pray you get a room where someone is quiet next door and doesn’t snore!!!! ???♀️

Rooftop bar & lounge and Draftsman facilities were closed during our visit (Last week of Jan 2024). You have a great hotel property but if the guests cannot enjoy the facilities then it shouldn't advertise as beneficial to the guests. Also, maintenance/quality assurance should pay close attention to the bathroom shower tile grout.Shower bottom corner grout had gaps and black mold.As far as breakfast basket, it's a great idea! But items in the basket needed toaster and/or microwave to heat the food. Microwave in the room is beneficial. The toaster/microwave was only available at the 1st floor lobby area.

Absolutely wonderful service and beautiful property. We stayed in the larger room with a couch and it was fabulous. There’s plenty to do right at the hotel between the restaurant and the arcade downstairs, but you are in a great location to explore the entire city. The place is great, but it was the service that made it exceptional. I couldn’t wait to see what was in our little breakfast picnic each morning. Top quality all around.

Came in early January and the room was WAY too hot. Called downstairs multiple times as the AC wouldn’t kick on and the answer was basically we can switch you to a new room that also won’t cool down. Hotel is beautiful, rooms are nice but not being able to control your room temp is unacceptable.
