They ordered a Hearthstone wood burning insert for me and had it in the store within 10 days - I was particularly impressed with Ridgeline Chimney Services who the store recommended for installation - Brian from Ridgeline also worked me into his schedule quickly and did an outstanding job on the cleaning and restoration/repair of my old chimney and the installation of the new unit. He was very professional, courteous, cleaned the workspace daily (as it took 4 days) and always let me know what time he would be arriving. I will definitely use both Firelight and Ridgeline again in the future.

We had a small problem with our new fireplace that was not installed by an authorized person. The owner of the store stepped right up and had someone solve the problem within a few days during the busy fall season! Great service

We needed to change our wood stove because ours was too big and overheated our home. I came in and talked to Alex who directed me to their Green Mountain as the best option. I had a lot of questions that you just can't find answers on websites. Comparative questions about different brands, different woods and the like.I was really concerned about burning seasoned pine in a catalytic stove, but Alex said it would work.I also asked him about "burning the stove off" outside, which I did. The smoke was so bad that I got really concerned if I had made a huge mistake in buying this stove. But I also had to burn it off outside due to all of the toxic fumes of breaking a stove in.So I changed the stove with the old one and started it up. You have to block the wood up to get it to breathe right. It started with no back draft or smoke in the house on the first light. I was gratefully impressed.It's been burning this morning on the coldest windiest day of the year. It's so comfortable in the house. I'm in a T shirt and bare feet and very comfortable.These guys know their stuff. You can trust them, their prices are fair. Do business with them, they know how to fill your needs and do you right.

The store itself is clean and well organized, the salespeople are very knowledgeable and eager to sell their products. Unfortunately, when it comes to gas, they are single threaded through ONE single man to install. We were told an estimate of September, then December, and then ultimately January. Because the install is dependent on the weather, things can get delayed and it can be frustrating. They should find an additional installer vs relying on this one (albeit skilled professional) man.

Had a fantastic experience in this store. Former firefighter turned high-end patio equipment salesperson Alex patiently explained all my gas grill options. He was honest and incredibly knowledgeable about all his merchandise. He gave me options in all price points and never tried to upsell me anything. When I came to pick up my grill, Alex (and two other employees) bent over backwards to make sure the grill was securely stowed away. I even got valuable pointers on how best to cook on my new grill. They even lent me tools and a moving blanket before sending me on my way. The grill has more than lived up to my expectations. As we expand our outdoor living space, I intend to work with Alex et al to make our ideas reality!

All staff at Firelight, especially Alex and Cedric, have been exceptionally helpful in narrowing down the most appropriate direct vent fireplace system for my application. They actually take time to listen to your individual circumstance and then offer suggestions for options they have available. Since sales personnel do not work on commission there is no hard sell of particular products. Every time I have visited the store it has been an outstanding experience. Don't hesitate to visit.

We are going through a major remodel of our master bedroom suite. Needed a peninsula fireplace but had no idea how to go about specifying. Robi was amazing. Patient as well as helpful to guide us to the right solution within our budget. When the supplier had some issues, he called on his rep to get the problem resolved immediately. You don't get that kind of help buying over the Internet. Thank you Robi and Firelight

My husband and I visited several places that sold wood stoves and also did our research on-line. You are not going to find a better deal than at Firelight. Not only do you get a great product, but all the expertise that goes with it. Robi knows his stuff, and we cannot say enough about the excellent customer service.

I had the pleasure of working at Firelight for a few months and if I ever need a fireplace or outdoor furniture this is where I will be buying it. Ric and Rusty truly are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to this business. I strongly recommend Firelight Hearth and Patio.

This place has only one star and now I know why. I inquired about some patio furniture, Jensen Outdoor to be exact. Rusty gave me a quote over the phone one day and 3 days later (it would have been 2 days but Rusty was too busy to call me back) when I called back and wanted to place the order every single piece of the 9 pieces was more expensive than than the quote 3 days earlier. While this may not sound too terrible however I am a 100% disabled Viet Nam Veteran on a very limited budget and only receive what the Army sends me for my disabilities. Even after I wrote them a letter and told them how shabby I had been treated I still have not heard from them. My recommendation is not to deal with these people. If they treat vets this way they will screw over anyone. I had to give them 1 star because no stars was not a choice. Tom F. US Army
