AGAIN: this internet is a fraud with how much it goes out. I called and complained and they said to get new equipment why are you giving out bad equipment in the first place? awful. I hate having to be stuck with Spectrum bc of an apartment complexes rules. id have never chosen to be a customer.
AGAIN: this internet goes out most nights of the week. it's a scam. spectrum is the worst Internet money can buy. they tell you you have wonderland speeds and then hand out faulty equipment because they know modem hardware isn't common knowledge. an absolute waste of time and money.
I resent that I'm stuck with your horrible "product" that is your service I would have NEVER chosen to be a spectrum customer. WORST INTERNET IN AVL 100/100
update. post hurricane, still the most donkey 4$$ internet in avl
Update 10/24: continues to go out nearly nightly . I can't believe you get off with peddling this "internet service"
Update 10/28: still the worst Internet in town. a crime to even still be able to peddle their fake service here

After a catastrophic event in NC .....I was without phone service for many days.
However, I was charged full amount for my mobile service which did not work. After talking with 'customer service' they acted like there was no credit to receive but yet I didn't have service.. I was told no other customers had called about having no phone service during the weather event. I guess not we couldn't we didn't have phone service haha . So I guess spectrum took money from everybody that didn't owe as much even during the hurricane. Wow way to go spectrum !

Waited an hour to be told that they couldn’t help me with a billing issue. This store is inefficient and I wouldn’t come back.

I got charter a year ago. I chose the internet and cable because it was cheaper (at the time). I was paying $50…. Then it increased to $54 like a year later, then like 6 months later it increased to $71.99. I called and asked why it keeps increasing and they said I’m on some “promotion”. They said internet is only $10 dollars— that’s all I want! They never notify me of increases. Don’t you all get enough money??? This is unjust.

If I could leave less than one star I would. I've been given false information by staff for promotions from this store so many times. I get there with an appointment and I check in 20 mins early. They never call my name but they said they called me 10 or 15 mins ago well I wasn't checked in or even there yet. I had been checked in for 2 mins and I show them that. I said no you didn't that's not possible. I go to the lady who then calls me after that and I was told on the customer service line I could upgrade my phone. It's 1 hour until closing and they turn me away. She said she can't help me upgrade 1 phone. She said if we do it now I'm keeping your phones over night and we are still leaving at 5pm. This is 1 hour before they close. I've never had an upgrade take so long. 20 mins maybe tops. The customers that she was helping before me left angry too. This woman didn't seem to help one person while I was there. Terrible customer service from them everytime I've gone in. Not just me but I always see them arguing with other customers. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. They are rude and lazy.

I felt like a number I didn't get the customer care field and there was one individual lady that had very poor customer service she know who she is is she gay my little bit of suspect the people of my kind. Yeah it could have been just me but I know what my intuition felt and I know what common sense feels like investigation she should not work in that type of field of business but this ain't the first time it's just sad in 2024 still have people like her that type of trash we need to do away with. I'll be calling my payment in from now on spectrum do better

This Has to be the worst spectrum store around.. They have the rudest workers to deal with u.. This store always make u feel like helping you is a problem, and the manager is no better either. Make sure you know what you’re getting to cause they will screw you over in a heartbeat add stuff to your account and etc… So just save yourself time and go to airport Road much much better service. Sales rep that will help you and are very respectful and honest

Absolute worst internet provider I’ve ever dealt with. Every other provider has been such a pleasant experience until I was FORCED to switch to spectrum when I moved because of their ridiculous monopoly on the town of Asheville.
