I just ordered a few seeds, never considering that this store has been damaged by Hurricane Helene.
I will wait, patiently.

This is my default seed store for my garden. They are helpful, have everything you could need, and I know that it is carefully curated.

The search box on your we site is truly infuriating to operate. Please fix it. I might buy more if you do.

I have tried multiple times and locations to plant and germinate Mexican Sunflower and Calendula seeds from Sow True without success. I think I'd have had better luck buying off the rack seeds from Burpee or equivalent. Live and learn !

I cannot say enough good things about Sow True Seed. I was fortunate to stumble upon the shop during a trip to Asheville about a year and a half ago, and now we visit every time we drive up from Greenville. The staff is made up of some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and they’re incredibly helpful because they want you to succeed with whatever you are growing. The selection of books, seeds, starters, and gardening tools are top notch. I’m so grateful to have found Sow True Seed.

these folks now use a terrible packaging that smells heavily of terrible laundry detergent, like the bags from dollar general...as a long term customer I'm horrified ?

I had gone here specifically to find out what I could obtain in order to maintain a sustainable habit and lifestyle. Hey, this all rhymes! ?
But, with all rhyming silliness aside, the female staff lady I spoke to on the days I visited in here was very glad and willing to answer my questions. She told me which most of the seed species on sale here are of the vegetable or floral variety.
In other words, for those of you who might be searching for either fruit seeds or perhaps Rosemary seeds, if my memory serves me correctly, then you'll have to search elsewhere. Those are not varieties which are sold here.
However, there are other gardening tools and goods available to buy here! Most notably watering cans and even a butterfly house! It looks a lot like a birdhouse, however, it was designed and built up specifically for butterflies to reside in... If they want to.
As an interesting side note, this particular shop has plant and seed on display both inside and outside. Feel free to check it out!

I absolutely love Sow True! Once I got word their shop was near me and they had all my favorites it was game on! This is my first year gardening and Sow True's seeds and starts are making me look like a pro. My favorites are the Jewel strawberries and the Yukon Gold potatoes, they are both huge and taking off after only 6 weeks in the ground! I will always get my seeds and starts from Sow True. Their shop is warm and inviting, their seeds are reasonably priced, and their customer service is great! Thanks for helping me start my first season off with a bang!

Learned about this place online and bought seeds while I was in town. Wonderful store, staff, and products. I live in zone 10b so I garden year round. I bought over $100 in seeds and everything I've planted has germinated beautifully.
