I went in to Safelite in Asheville this morning to have a one inch crack, with a ding in my windshield repaired. ( see photo) The people working there were very friendly and helpful. They looked at the windshield and said that they could repair it . Picking up my car 30 minutes later they explained that the windshield cracked while they were trying to repair it. I now have a 6 inch crack in my windshield. (See photo). They , of course stated that they could replace the windshield,,,,,. I am NOT a happy customer! I would have expected that a national brand, like Safelite, would have better trained service personnel and would have instructed them how to repair this minor issue without stressing the glass. This was avoidable with professional repair personnel

Johnny Cody did a great job communicating letting me know he was on his way and verified it was a good time for me as well.
He arrived and explained what the process of replacing the windshield would take and informed me that it would take around an hour.
He was professional and did a great job replacing my work van windshield. He was very polite and efficient at his profession.
Make sure he gets the recognition he deserves! Thank you again.

These people are amazing. They take very good care of your window glass needs. I had a windshield replaced a few years ago. This time, we had to have two windshields replaced. They come to you with courtesy and efficiency and great work. Thank you also to the office staff, so kind and helpful.

Christine came to my workplace to fix a small chip/crack in my windshield. She had great communication, she worked quickly, and fixed me right up! You really can barely tell that the crack is there. I appreciate that I was able to have this fixed by Safelite within 24 hours of the crack happening. Thanks!

I had a 16 year old kid on a stand up motorized scooter hit the back quarter panel driver side window.
I made my appointment easily online and had an 8 am appointment this morning. I took the car in and literally they had my car keys back in my hands after 35 minutes. Great customer service with the check in desk, the tech was amazing and talked me through what he did and what I should not do ( can't wash car for 3 days). A really amazing experience and I'm really happy I didn't go to another window replacement business ....I'm definitely a new loyal Safelite customer.... hopefully I won't need them again but if I do I know they'll take great care of me and my car.
Plus they have dog treats available in the waiting lobby...I had my pup with me.

Very substandard customer service experience from the Safelite regional office. The tech. did a good job fixing the glass, but the admin. staff at Safelite would not even honor their own solicitation discount that they sent us. They said it was our fault for paying in advance (wow!) and not applying the discount code when we first booked the appointment via the app. When I called back to straighten this out, they just unapologetically said there was "nothing" they could do, despite us being returning customers. No effort whatsoever to win our future business. Wow! That's why Safelite will NOT get any more business from us again. Extremely disappointing!

Wiper arm no longer contacts surface of windshield. went to replace wipers as that was communicated as a potential issue, and the driver's wiper arm no longer contacts windshield. there are also several missing bolts used to ahere the cowling. only 1/4 bolts can be found
