This place was great! My sister injured herself while we were on a jog nearby, and she needed stitches. Within two hours, we were in and out, and she got 10 stitches. The people were so kind, friendly, and reassuring. If you’re in a pinch and need medical help, I wouldn’t hesitate to go there!

We made an appointment. We were checked in within 10 minutes of arriving. The doctor arrived within 10 minutes after that and was thorough in questioning our health status and needs. We highly recommend Novant on Merrimon for urgent care needs.

We had a great experience here! The staff was so friendly and they saw us in a very timely manner. They gave my son excellent care and explained everything they were doing and made him feel comfortable. I would highly recommend!

I am so grateful for Novant Health's Urgent Care in North Asheville. The few times I've needed urgent care for myself or my family, I've had terrible experiences with other urgent care facilities in the area including excruciatingly long wait times, being turned away, and visits with providers who just didn't seem to care. It's the EXACT opposite with Novant. On my most recent visit I had a sudden leg injury and needed to see someone right away. Thanks to Novant's later hours, I was able to walk right in. It was the quickest visit I've ever had, with an always-kind and knowledgable medical team. They very clear and up front about payment options, insurance, and they promptly refer and call in prescriptions after my visit.

The experience in the place was fine however they do not have professional people working there. My son was referred to an orthopedic. They never sent the x-rays. I was told you should go in person to get them to send them because they NEVER answer the phone. They did not answer the phone so I went in person. Instead of someone doing it while I was there I was told Zachary Hamrick the referral coordinator should have done it already. 2 days later zach nor anyone else at this place had done anything. I will not recommend this urgent care for anything more than a scraped knee
