I frequently shop at the Octopus Garden in Weaverville and on Merrimon Ave, so I decided that while I was in the area on Friday that I would bring my parents into the shop for some supplies. To say that the girl helping that day was rude, would be an understatement. Fist of all, she had no idea what she was when it came to the products in the store. When my mom and dad had questions, her lack of knowledge became very apparent because she got defensive. The experience at this location was enough to make me not shop with this business again. I hope it was just a bad day on her, but I definitely won't be coming to this location again.

Very grateful for Steve at this Octopus Garden location, which is now the closest to my home! He’s almost always there and always super friendly, happy, helpful, and attentive. He keeps me up to date on the latest products and has great taste in Horror Movies! Absolutely the nicest OP employee I’ve event encountered! Thank you, Steve!!! ?

The clerk at the Merrimon location was so unbelievably rude to me and my family. We came in for a replacement piece after leaving the Hop- she refused to help my husband (helping 2 others who came in after us first). I allowed the children to pick out some locally made jewelry to pass the time and she felt it necessary to tell my husband “your wife should try brushing your kid’s hair sometime” “I’m not just going to GIVE you anything” (when asked for help behind the counter)
