Max was so patient and knowledgeable. I don't think we could've gotten a better instructor. This is an incredible experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting town!

Booked glass blowing experience for the family here for the second time. Instructors are good-natured and patient, and are aware of the safety issues involved in handling dangerous materials around untrained people. Will be doing so again if I get the opportunity.

Our visit was a surprise birthday gift from my husband, and he chose a great gift! We had a wonderful time, got to experience hands-on creation of our glass projects, while the instructors ensured safety and were patient and did very well balancing helping us and allowing us to participate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We selected an hour-long class to make picture frames. The NC Glass Center was fun to visit and had a beautiful gallery. It was an enjoyable experience, but I would probably recommend choosing a class that actually involves glass blowing as it would be worth the money spent. When we did our picture frame class, a lot of the glass options seemed picked over and already cut down to tiny little pieces, making the selection not what we had hoped for. And our instructor started to teach us as if we had already taken a class before and not as if we were beginners. Our instructor was not that helpful, and also told us to please be sure to finish on time because “I don’t get paid past my time”, which was off-putting to hear. We had fun with the experience, but it was not as fun as we were expecting it to be. When we received our picture frames in the mail, they also did not include one of our picture frames. They did refund us for the missing frame and said they would still look for where it could be, but it was still very disappointing to be missing one of the picture frames we made. Some more organization and safe keeping would have been beneficial for guests and their pieces. Overall, I would recommend a trip here, but not for a glass fusing class. Actually experiencing blowing the glass would have been worth the money.

My friend and I took a one-day, 30 minute class. Our instructor was Max (who is awesome). We both made a glass pumpkins and enjoyed learning about the glassblowing process. If you plan a visit ensure you have time to pick-up your item the day after your session (typically after 3pm) or you can get it shipped home.Wonderful staff! Wish I lived closer to take a longer class!

My husband and I had a FANTASTIC time! Christian and Chris were so knowledgeable and helpful! They made the experience so much fun! We absolutely loved it and will be back! Everyone was so nice! And we even had to have our pumpkins shipped and they arrived no problem and completely safe!

I am a grandmother and my daughter and I took an hour class. It was great fun. Our instructor, Sharon, was terrific. We were given a glass rod and she showed us how we were able to make hanging pendants of different colors and sizes. We used a blow torch and at the end of the hour, was beginning to understand the process. Would highly recommend it.

My partner and I did the pendant class and it was a great experience! Both instructors we worked with were wonderful, and now we have a unique souvenir and memory from our trip.

Amazing!!!!!! We had such a great time making seasonal “pumpkin” blown glass! Highly recommend!!!!! It was an awesome experience for us on a girls trip!!!!!

Wow, a great experience. This was something I always wanted to do. My Granddaughter & I took a private glass blowing with Steve. He was so patient, knowledgeable, friendly and knew exactly what we wanted. We each made a memento of our trip. The experience we shared together is priceless. This is a great place to visit and see all the beautiful glass pieces for sale or just to watch a glass blower doing their art. It was a highlight of our vacation.

Excellent learning experience! While I did not book the event, my wife explained it quite well and the outcome was amazing.Hands on with guided instruction in the creation of something you can use. My wife and I made two glasses; a stemless wine glass & a pint glass. The gentleman teaching/assisting was very precise on what happens next and what the outcome may be. Fun, exciting, & hot! Remember folks it’s glass works, the creation part requires heat & if you can’t take the heat… get out of the kitchen.
